This old 5 window is sitting on a modern frame with disc brakes. The engine is smooth and the brakes work a little. The truck needs a good owner to set it right. We are plumbing in a fuel tank to run it up on the trailer for shipping. Itts got a cool bench seat that moves around if you power it up. The cab corners have a rough patch job. This old truck could make the right guy real happy. Drop the gate, crack a beer and throw out a line. Ahhhh the good life, Rus

This beautiful red corvette was sold by a body shop. The owner had them do some work and sell it for him. Story goes he worked at GM and the day he retired he bought this Vette. It looks really really nice. The car needs quite a bit of love right now. I have driven it 50 miles and done the belts and topped off the fluids. The brakes pull, the tires are nice but rub on the fenders occasionally under spirited driving, too big. The steering wheel is cockeyed right 20 degrees. There are scratches and chips and a hunk of the right wheel well is off but still in possession. It can be fixed. Everything on this car is available and its not rocket science. Some rocket scientists would be helpful though. The vette isn't running on all 8, I could hear an arc in there and will try to track it down. The exhaust looks very fresh. The power steering is a little groany. I have had 30 vettes and none were this shiny. The taillights all look new and You could be a rockstar in this car. There are records since new at a reputable shop in town. I will see if I can get them. The red interior is hot. So many looks and stares in a car like this, you don't see em like before. Here we have a bright red 40 year old corvette that can be at your doorstep in 7 days flat, are you ready? harris

This is a great vette, just reach in the window and turn it on. Feels like it was never beat on, not many rattles and squeaks. Front left caliper leaks. I found out the hard way after a 100 mile day of driving. Yes you could drive this one home. Just got a new alternator and battery, holds a charge for months at a time. Goes straight on down the road, doesn't pull on the highway. Very strong acceleration and smooth power. Drove it up the hill tonight for photos. Ive had 30 vettes, this ones nice. Belonged to one guy for 10 years the other guy bought it new. Tee tops are speckled from paint fade. They need a re-do or just keep em off for gosh sakes. Car is always under a cover and kept clean, could be cleaner. Up to you. These are gonna get more expensive, they have to, the eighties ones kinda suck. Get your red vette here, its auto, the wife could drive it, just don't let her, Harris

We travelled long and hard to retrieve this Corvette by yosemite valley. I had been on the phone with this fella for over a year when he finally scheduled a meet. This car is nice and the plastics are brittle from heat. The engine matches and the pipes are new. The frame is good and not rusty. The brakes discs look smooth still. The paint is thin on the tops and the car still looks nice. The blue interior makes this vette like a cloud in the sky. My local machine shop gave a great quote on an engine rebuild, so my partner and I agreed we would make this vette move again if no one jumps on it. I looked for a project like this for a long time. It finally came but Im going in a different direction, looking for a family van you know... I could look at the back of this vette forever, just looking at it from my chair, guzzlin' a bud. Will it be the rare one year only, rubber bumper in the front model, that the vette guys go nuts for? time will tell. If you want it sent your way let us know, have a corvette winter, so you can have it ready for cruisin' in the spring, Harris.

This Chevy was purchased by Raymond M. at a classic car dealership in Monterey Ca. It was driven by Raymond for 11 years and then sequestered to a covered parking place in Alameda, Ca. When purchased by Raymond in 1988, the ragtop chevy had been restored and transformed into what you see here. There must have been a donor car back then because all the pieces in the transformation are original and have stood up well to the test of time. The car is in a wonderful place where its not too perfect to enjoy, but good enough to illicit compliments wherever you go. I have been weekend driving the car and although it has rattles and squeaks, its 100% a great chevy musclecar experience. I have left the car for up to a month and when I returned, 4 pumps of the gas and it roars to a start. Once I was showing off to some friends and hit the gas, after both rear tires started to break loose the chevelle leapt forward, still burning rubber. I had to hit the brakes hard and almost popped my forehead on the steering wheel. True story, my guys were laughing so hard...The top switch will work to raise the top, but not lower it. I had an auto electric friend put it down for me once and for all. I don't own a ragtop to keep the top up. I have a cowboy hat for when the sun is too bright. The top will be raised for shipping. The car can be driven anywhere, so fly ins are ok if you are seeking adventure. The top is white and has a cut in it so replacement would be necessary. I will add pics as the auction goes along. This is a really fun car to own. You could still add your touches to it and not lose value for originality. I think its great as it sits. I will add the engine numbers shortly because it must be high horsepower. This is a powerful car and not recommended for inexperienced drivers. thanks, harris.
