1969 Camaro, Pro Touring Restomod, Turbocharged Modern Automotive Performance is proud to present this amazing 1969 Pro Touring Camaro. With just over 1000 miles since completion this vehicle is finally ready to find a new home! Through a process we have dubbed "modernization" we built this Camaro to be a true drivers car. We replaced the carbureted 327, drum brakes, leaf springs, and several other components with more modern technology. The goal was the generate more horsepower, better fuel economy, improved braking and handling, and a more comfortable ride all while reatining the iconic look and feel that the 1969 Camaro is known for. The results: A turbocharged 750hp monster that has been as fast as 10.7 @ 129mph on drag radials in the quarter mile! Its not all about straight line speed either; Coilovers and disc brakes were utilized on all four corners making this Camaro a formidable opponent on the road course or AutoX track as well! But no true drivers car is complete without the creature comforts! Vintage Air electronic heat and air conditioning provide climate control that was nothing more than a dream in 1969. A unisteer rack and pinion conversion, Dakota Digital dash gauges, Corbeau bucket seats with fresh upholstery, and a custom audio system address the remaining shortcomings and truly round out the vehicle. MAP decals (including the Yenko replica stripes) were installed for marketing purposes, but can be removed at buyers request prior to delivery. The paint, while in very good condition, does have a few small blemishes with the most noticeable being a touched up area on the passenger side door. We certainly thought about a show quality paint job throughout the build process, but ultimately decided that it may discourage the future owner from actually driving and enjoying the vehicle which would contradict what we set out to do!
