This car was meticulously put together for that nostalgia look but with the performance of a modern street machine. It’s the best of both worlds. No expense was spared during the complete from off restoration. Literally, everything is brand new with the documentation to prove it. The color is PPG Hugger Orange with black stripes and features the period correct vinyl top. The interior is hounds tooth black and white. The motor is a 650 HP 421 small block Chevy race motor custom built by Larry’s Auto Machine in Groton, CT ($24,000). A 4 speed Muncie M22 professionally rebuilt to perfection transmission putting power to the ground through a 12 bolt Moser posi-trac rear differential with 3:73 gears. If you want fast, look no further. A Lakewood bell housing with scatter shield was used to protect your toes. A custom fabricated cooling system from Wizard Cooling with dual electric fans rated to 1000 HP does a great job. A compete 4 wheel disc brake system from The Right Stuff was applied for optimal stopping power. The suspension of choice is a fully adjustable Stage III system from Detroit Speed with tubular control arms. This car handles like a brand new muscle car. To hold all of that power together, Detroit Speed sub-frame weld in connectors were used to keep her straight. The exhaust system is a complete header back 3 inch stainless steel system from Pypes featuring Violator Series mufflers. Don’t bother turning the radio up because there isn’t one and you couldn’t hear it anyway. This car was built for the ultimate driving experience…and that’s what it is! The speedometer and odometer is a complete 3-in-1 setup from New Vintage. They look original but provide modern lighting. This car is the real deal in looks, performance, and drivability. The restoration was started in 2010 and wasn’t finished until 2015. I have full documentation, photos of the build, and all receipts that will come with the car. This car also has a clear title which shows the car was originally a V6. I also have the Dynacorn title and documentation for the brand new shell. The exterior of this machine has countless hours spent on all the important aspects. The panels and gaps are amazing and the paint work is second to none. From the bottom to the top, this 1969 Camaro has received nothing but the best of the best! This car has never seen a drop of water. I hand shine it only…and it shows. It may look like a trailer queen, but I drive it on beautiful days…occasionally! For the protection of the buyer and myself, this deal will only be made in person or once the wire transfer or certified check is cleared. I will assist with enclosed shipping following purchase.
