1954 Chevy Custom Coupe, small block 350, automatic, power steering, power brakes, A/C, custom instrumentation, hidden stereo w/removable faceplate, Custom tail lights, reverse lights, 3rd light license plate frame, white wall tires. Purchased from Mershon's about 4 years ago & used for shows, trips to the village for ice cream and the occasional ride out to the east end. Turns heads & gets thumbs up every where we go. It was an aprox. 7 year old restoration when we purchased it, with aprox 100 miles on it and now it's a little older and paint is starting to bubble in spots and it needs to be freshened up again. We aren't equipped to do so and ride our bikes more than the car so it's time for a new home. Still a beautiful car, drives nice, good tires, sounds great - checkout the videos I made below (cut & paste into your browser). I believe the miles, 1136, are on the rebuild/restore and not the total actual miles of the vehicle. While this car runs & drives great, it is not perfect. The a/c stopped working right after we got it but we never looked into it. Most likely need a recharge. We love driving with our arms hanging out of the windows & chatting with folks so a/c wasn't a priority. And neither was the radio which works when it wants but most of the time it doesn't. That goes for the automatic antenna too. If the radio goes on, it will go up but most of the time it doesn't. And the paint & chrome is starting to bubble & flake in places. Better to fix it now before it turns into something bad. I think I have a small can of paint that you can have if I can find it. Also, the pics show cruise control on the steering column but it was never fully installed. We got a box of pieces when we bought it and if I can find it, you can have someone finish the install for you. Not a definite that I can find it though. Old age is killing me..... Please look at my videos and ask many questions. If you are local, come check it out. If you are not local and would like to send someone to check it out for you, be my guest. You must arrange for any shipping or transporting and I will assist with loading and pick up times. I will not do the shipping & payment must clear before the vehicle leaves the property. This car is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied and by bidding/offering on this car you agree to these terms.
