I have been asked to help a friend with the e-bay process. He has a 1957 CHEVY BEL AIR 4 DOOR STATION WAGON for sale. The following should help all communicate; Clear tile, great driver, motor runs good, no oil consumption, slightly cold blooded, bright red tranny fluid, drum brakes that stop good, original working AM radio, speedometer works but other factory gauges do not, after market oil pressure gauge does work, windshield wipers work, all exterior and interior lights are working, windows all work, all glass complete with no cracks, weather stripping is complete in good condition with some needing to be re-glued. Paint and exterior rated scale 1-10, rated a 5 to 6, age of paint unknown, paint has rock chips on hood with a few typical dings and light scratches. Only bondo found was in lower part of tail gate. Small rust area in tail gate jamb area and small spot passenger side rear door jamb. American racing Wheels, front 245/45/17 / rear 245/40/17 with low mile tires. Interior is in good condition Chrome is rate an 8 except the bumpers, door handlesand rear lights are rated a 4. Chevy 327 w/4 barrel, Muncy 4 speed, GM rear end, gears unknown, dual exhaust in good condition, radiator 1 yr. old. Wiring is believed to be original. Floor pans all good. 1954 Chevrolet Belair 4DR All original and complete, has an inline 6 with 3 on the tree. Claims to have 26K original miles but hard to tell yet believable Daily driver, no leaks, of course it'll have some rust, what '54 doesn't, very slight hole in drivers floor, need to really look to see it, the rest of the rust is surface rust only, grille is rusted out and dented on left (look at photos). Quarter trim on left doesn't line up with trim on door, seems to be some filler there but obviously repair was done years ago, title is CLEAR NO SALVAGE. Overall its a great sedan that needs a new owner. Trunk is dusty but in excellent condition, not rotted/rusted away, as for the glass, left rear door glass is cracked!! Comes with front bumper and grille mesh, no center bar, most body trim is there but some parts and pieces may be missing, some dash parts, interior trim pieces, a bell housing are all in the car, Comes with an older after market quarter skin for right side and right and left used quarter skins that may or may not be of use. Car really could use a complete restoration, but could probably be driven as is with a little work. Back glass and left side windows broken, but have new tinted glass for it. Does need passenger floor board, but car body looks soild. Grill bar is not rusted out, but does have a dent in the topside of the horizontal bar and a dent on the side of the right park light. Most body mouldings are good, but a few do have some dings in them. Right headlight bezel has a dent on the very top. Have a new taillight assembly for the right side and new lenses and reflector ring for left side. Interior needs to be redone. Car hasn't been run in a number of years, but have pulled the spark plugs and shot some Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders and turned the engine over. Car is very restorable, basically needing a good sanding and paint job.
