It was snowing when I took these pics the other day , there's a few picture glitches and the car was sitting there running , I've owned this car since summer 2001 and at that time it was an Arizona title , I still have the copper license plate that was on it . ---- (517-320-3426) ---- if you have any questions or would like to see it . NO BATTERY , I used the one out of my truck . The only reason the trim and stuff are off of it is because I removed everything for paint ... my brother was a painter at a dealership but suffered a serious injury and it has sat the past few years as is , the fenders are on with a couple bolts right now . I have put around 3k miles on this car in those almost 16 years and it's either been in a garage or barn since I've owned it . I bought a house a couple years ago and my priorities have changed due to some unforeseen circumstances and a health issue I'm resolving , plus I need the room . If I had the space and the funds , I'd finish it myself . It does have some scrapes and stuff , that's what's on the low sides of the front fenders into the door , from my brother not paying attention when I was putting it on a trailer , easy fix and the fenders and doors are solid .. In the pics = the cardboard is in between the fender and bumper so it don't get scraped up / in between the passenger door and fender on the passenger door is a bit of the rubber molding sticking out , the doors are solid , like I said the fenders are only held on with a few bolts . In Arizona the rain / water sets in these cars in certain areas ... and sets ... the floors have some patches and by that I mean where your feet would rest in the centers otherwise the structural parts all around are great. The trunk floor has a small patch in the center and the very lower rear quarters have been repaired from water setting , plus the passenger rear quarter had a little damage from a tire blowout before I bought it . The interior was redone in 1986 , I know this by the writing on the back side of one of the rear quarter interior panels , so I'm sure it was a resto back then ... the interior needs a little cleaning and sweeping and it is done ! Everything is in great shape , someone installed lap belts , but that can be changed . Frame is solid / mounts are good but aged / the rubber bushings and everything else is dry . The left muffler needs replaced , it has a hole from condensation and sitting . 283 V-8 with a Powerglide 2 speed ... I tossed a battery in it and primed the carb ... and drove it out to take pics , it needs more driving and minor tlc , it does not knock or anything and it's always fired up after getting fuel from the tank to the carb / priming it . Outside of some minor stuff and paint , this car is there . The center section of the front bumper has a couple surface rust spots / I cut the trailer hitch off that was welded to the frame years ago / I put a starter - wheel cylinder kits - brake lines on the rear axle and minor other stuff into it over the years / The battery box has some rust and the outer edge of the core support does too .. it can easily be repaired . The grill has a fin or two that needs tweaked / on the very top front of the right fender = I heated up the nut so I wouldn't break the stud on the eyebrow trim / The wiring under the hood has had some repairs , throttle lever at the shaft on the 2bbl carb is a little loose / needs a throttle return spring and there's a tiny amount of mud along the underside of the front of the hood ... I pretty much bought it and haven't done a whole lot to it because I didn't have too .. the rest was the way it was when I bought it ... I'm pretty easy to deal with and I'm located in Hillsdale county Michigan / Osseo ... 5 miles north of Pioneer , Ohio ... and about 30 miles from Angola , In . Clean title in my name .... I do have a few other pics I can send (24 max on here) ... and I can text pics .... Every piece is pretty much there , maybe a couple bolts is all but I kept it all together in the trunk or in the shed and I don't throw stuff around . I also have an extra set of fender emblems , license plates , a magazine ad and a set of hubcaps to go with it . The owners manuals are included too ! The last pic is what it looked like together a few years ago .

This one is a keeper, The floor pans,frame supports, are all super Clean.. I redid all the Rubber cushions for the body mounts 3years ago..and the underneath of the car is solid as a rock.. The engine and trans are all rebuilt 4 years ago.. Heads done right for unleaded gas, ..Transmission completely rebuilt, not just the clutch and throwout bearings. All the internal gears rebuilt too. This was my summer driver,I put on about 2000miles a summer on it.. Completely reliable and built that way.!!!.I've treated the car like an everyday driver, Taken the car camping, fishing, 50mile, 100mile trips many, many times.. Worry free...And no kidding with this 235Engine on 90degree days, runs as cool as a cucumber.. Never ever will over heat !., I've put it to the test many times driving to Ann Arbor and back with 100miles trips.. I put about 7,or 8thousand miles on it since being all rebuilt.. Steering components all in excellent condition, new shocks all the way around. Brakes are great..New bushings for leaf springs and shackles. New tires, It goes down the road as straight as can be for a 57,thats forsure.. Engine runs Excellent and is timed to the best it can be ,with the original carburetor rebuilt 2years ago.. I always check the plugs ever few weeks during the summer,,It only takes me 5 to 10minutes to check them..so easy.. Every plug is burning as it should be.. Engine is smooth and quiet..New original muffler installed couple years ago.. Car was painted a hard Enamal coat probably 15years ago..Paint is as hard as a rock..and doesn't scratch like a base coat,clear coat that's forsure..It hasn't bubbled or pealed in all this time and I don't expect it too soon. Only a couple tiny spots on the car that I touchup with paint...Engine compartment was completely painted original color torquise blue and shows very well.. Suspension has new A-arm bushings upper and lower, most people forget about doing these.. Makes a more solid ride.. Has Newer Rearend seals and bearings,3years old..Front wheels have newer style roller bearings...New gas tank sending unit.. Drive shaft is speed balanced.. The interior is in great condition, Seats and door panels,carpet all very nice..Headliner is perfect..Everything works. Radio,gauges,wipers,lighter,switch for brights.turn signals.speedo,fuel gauge, guage for the generator..dome light, on off switch. Every clip under the car is there, every clip for wiring and harnesses , All of it making it clean and factory stock.. so that is very cool... I think it is the original generator too,(numbers) completely gone through a few years ago, works perfect and has a new Voltage regulator.. Body tag in the engine compartment match the original paint color and interior... Car has original 57 wheels on it, with matching 210 dogdish hub caps included. Full Belair hubcaps are on the car in the pictures..If you want me to rate the car I will... Interior is a 9 out of 10... Engine ,trans,rearend is 9.5.... Paint and body, a solid 8,5....Chrome and bumpers and bright work is about a 7 ...nice but not show quality. Undercarriage is a 9 or 9.5.. Really the undercarriage tells the story of a car.. and this one I believe to be a real 45,000 mile car... its clean and painted. Very nice..Floor supports from the frame are all solid as a rock.. One of the main reasons I bought the car 6years ago. ...I have records for every summer driving it,, everything that was done to the car, mileage. when put away for the winter months,etc... Also car was stored right, free from moister, Engine cylinder walls ,primed with oil, carb taken off, gas preserved,,New complete tuneup every year,oil changed, lubed..ect.. cuz that's the way I always got it ready for the summer months..etc.etc.... Flaws,: Cracks drivers side rear window..Small crack in the windshield and repaired years ago and hasn't got bigger..Touch up paint on tiny areas of body, White paint on inside of top of the door jam area needs some touch ups, no big deal.. any Questions? 313-383-3012
