Beautiful running Datsun 810 from 1978. Passed smog again in 2014 and isn\'t due until 2016.I\'m the second owner. Purchased in the early 2000\'s - say 2003 - I don\'t really recall but can find out through records. Don\'t have a keen desire to sell the car but it hardly gets driven anymore and needs to go to someone who loves old cars and appreciates Datsun\'s specifically.Both owners have been / are non-smokers. Dogs have been in the car.Interior is faded and could use some vinyl cleaner/polish to make it look spiffy again.Last photo shows the seat belt light and door open light operational. All \'idiot lights\' functional for each appropriate item (battery, fuel, floor temp, etc) The seat belt buzzer is still hooked up.88,246 miles.Straight 6 cylinder.22mpg highway, 17 mpg in the city (if you drive conservatively.)Original owners manual.Painted in 2013. Same color of blue as the original paint. Weatherstrip / rain gasket on the 4 roll down windows replaced at this time.Tires new in 2013.I had the original dash re-created by \'All Dash\' down in LA. It was installed in 2013.New brake system installed in 2014.New battery in 2014.Car cover with bag.Everything works besides the clock (which only worked for the 1st year I owned the car anyway).The air conditioner works but may need a recharge - I haven\'t tried it lately to actually know if it\'s blowing cold or not.Rear window defogger works but is slow to warm up...it is original glass %26 electrics, so it just may be age causing the slowness.Known issues - mostly cosmetic:the carpet in the drivers area is loose and needs to be reattached or replaced.the center console storage lid had a vinyl \'hinge\' which is no longer there.small little pieces of plastic and cardboard - about 4 of them - need to be reinstalled or replaced.a rip across the passenger front seat that I have repaired. (Was trying to decide if recovering wouldn\'t be a better idea).there is a chrome \'cap\' over the end of the exhaust pipe that is rustythree small blisters on the roofthree places where the vinyl has torn - only one of which is very noticeable.chrome tape has come off an area on the front grillthere is a spare rim but I forgot to get the tire replaced when I purchased the other 4.both rear tail lights need seals cut - I have the material and just need to make the sealsinterior hood pull works to open the hood but needs to be pushed back in when closing the hood in order for the latch to catchAddition items that are in the trunk (\'cause finding parts can be difficult so when I found them I bought them):another Datsun 810 grill in original boxanother full set of 4 hubcapsanother set of windshield wipers (not the blades but the metal brackets)two Datsun 810 emblems - one for the rear left side and one for the trunk (I\'ve already had to replace the rear right because someone actually stole the original off of the vehicle!!)an original, still in package, door striker.a tail light, left one I think, that has cracked lenses but might be able to be repairedan original 810 service manual and a Haynes manual as wellOverall, the car is a good one. Starts up every time. Likes to go fast (due to the straight six). Offers a smooth ride.I wouldn\'t say the car is \'unmolested\' - it was painted and has a new dash. But for the most part, it\'s original.The car has been taken care of and is a great car for just driving around town.There is a mechanic in Campbell that only works on Datsun\'s. So don\'t worry about maintenance.I\'ll discuss price but not by much. Not really open to trades for this item.Currently on non-op to keep insurance costs low and it has been stored since selling the house.Registration is in my name and clean.
