Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I'm selling my 1976 MGB Roadster. This MG is solid. As you can see from the photos, it has been well taken care of. You can speak with my mechanic who services the car. He owns and services antique cars. I have nothing to hide about the car and will discuss everything with you when you come to look at it. It has been garaged for the past 15 years. The interior is all original and in very good condition. Some recent new parts (last 2-years) - Exhaust system - Battery (with shut-off switch) - Master Cylinder - Alternator - Tune-up - Fuel line/filter - signals switch Bonus: Comes with a tonneau cover and hardtop roof. (just in time for fall driving!) The hardtop roof is in good condition but it will need restoration. A brand new paint job would make this car really nice too as it has some chipped paint and some imperfections. A little rust below the door panels as well, but not bad at all. Come take a look at it. If you are looking for an inexpensive ready to go MGB, this is the one! Thanks.

1936 Studebaker Dictator Coupe I\'ve owned this ride for over 19 years [purchased in 12/1995] but regrettably, must sell. The Stude is done mechanically and requires zero maintenance cosmetically [I simply never even have to wash it]. Built for daily and dependable, reliable driving and starting. I\'m a long term cripple in a wheelchair and have been pretty much grouned at home since 2011 until early 2014 due to an accident [and the lack of daily ride i could use regularly], and my Stude has undergone a professional re-do in 2010-2011 [in the \'Radir Wheels\' farm\'s shop], thus it actually has less than 250 miles since all the work was done to it.Beautiful, pure \'art deco\' lines on this rare 3-window coupe. Only the 2 year production Dictator models [\'36 - \'37] had this sought after, iconic \'batwing\' rear window. - Early \'70s 4-bolt main 400 ci small block from a Chevy/GMC pick up [better than most SBCs, due to superior metal cast and thicker walls] was fully rebuilt/bored/stroked some years ago, but only about 1,200 miles ago since I used the Stude mainly for regular local car show/cruises fun; most of these gigs are less than 10 miles from my place. Starts and idles without any issues in any weather. The mill itself was rebuilt with some hi-perf goodies such as pistons, rings, lifters, etc. including a vintage \'fireball\' Crane cam. The cam\'s slightly lopey for that cool sound but idles all day long without any stalling issues at idle. - Vintage \'60s Edelbrock intake [with oil filler tube] that reallly comes alive and hard around 2,500-3,000 rpm. - Atop it is a Holley 4bbl vacuum secondaries carb [670 cfm if memory serves me right] capped with a large K%26N \'velocity stack\' type of air filter. - Low profile HEI ignition/coil set up. - Block hugger stainless steel headers welded into \'Brockman Mellotone\' steelpacks exhaust with echo cans [exhaust cut short to exit underneath the chasis]. - Rebuilt TH350R tranny with shift kit. - 12 bolt rear end w/3.73 gear ratio. - 4 wheel power disc brakes. - Rack %26 Pinion [manual] steering rack. I\'m a quadriplegic and easily able to steer with one hand only, never found a need for power steering, and it tracks better at speed. - IFS [independent front suspension], et al. According to the old timer whom i bought it from in \'95, the front clip, tranny, drive shaft, disc brakes and rear end/axle were all from a wrecked \'69 Camaro Z28. - Custom ordered h/d rear springs. - New custom built heavy duty radiator with custom made off-set fill tube [so one can easily fill the radiator with coolant without having to remove the grill surround], It also has a built in oil cooler and electric fan/relay. This car does not overheat. - Radir Wheels mags with custom, [hand grooved] 10.5\" wide rear tubeless, WWW pie crust, bias-ply \'Cheater Slicks\'; on deep dish mags and WWW radials on front mags; These mags ain\'t cheap. - Rear fenders trimmed and re-radiused. - Smoothed firewall. Other stuff: - Rare Hildebrandt valve covers, brake master cylinder/power booster is from early \'90s toyota I think. Headlights converted to sealed beams and the small marker lights converted/relayed to turnsignals. Purple dot inserts in tailights. Electric wiper [driver\'s side only] atop the windshield. Battery relocated to trunk, h/d power cable. Fuel filler tube relocated to trunk. Tilt column from early \'70s GM car. [\'91?] Ford Probe buckets, driver\'s side power operated for front/back adjustment. Dash fabbed by the previous owner with full vintage Autometer chrome bezel vintage gauges - night lighted in \'old school\' reddish light. Speedo, tach, plus water temp, oil pressure, vacuum, volts, fuel level gauge and fuel pressure. \'41 Ford rear bumper mounted on shortened factory [Studebaker] bumper mounts. Front bumperettes custom fabbed by previous owner. Outside door handles repop \'34 Ford. \'Vintage dragster\' kill switch mounted just above the rear bumper, functional of course. 3/4\" marine plywood floors, just like what they often used \'back then\' for improved rigidity and strength over thin gauge steel floors. The marine plywood looks somewhat tired but very solid and won\'t rot ever. I\'ve gutted the carpet and the \'whorehouse\' red velvet interior door/cab panels installed by the previous owner. --------------------------------------------------------------------- New stuff done/modified less than 250 miles ago, at the \'Radir Wheels\' farm: - Rebuilt tranny [professionally by a speed shop specializing in transmissions], - New Holley carb/K%26N air filter-stack, full new linkage, - New real springs/suspension, for a full \'race\' rake stance, - Custom wheels/tires, - Radiused/flared wheel wells, - Rear bumper [\'41 Ford], - Door handles [\'34 Ford], - Door latches/mechanism converted back from electric/solenoid door mechanism [electrics kept breaking down once in a while an I got sick of it finally]. - Vintage race type kill switch installed externally at the rear, - Miscellaneous stuff like full tune up, new fluid lines, updated electrics/wiring, lubrication/grease, alignment, etc. - Peep type rear view mirrors [both sides], - The driver\'s side running board refabbed an converted to fold down/raise up as door is opened/closed [more about this in \'needs\' section below]. Stuff/mods done just prior to the \'Radir Wheels\' Farm work, or after [still done less than 250 miles ago on its clock]: - New custom super heavy duty radiator w/built in oil cooler, radiator/fan mount, electric fan relay. Will support heavy duty A/C unit without overheating issues, - New disc brake calipers, rotors, pads, - New harmonic balancer, - New coil, sparkplugs and sparkplug wires [these might\'ve also been done at \'the Farm\' though, can\'t remember], - New starter, alternator, battery, - New steering universal joint, - Electric wiper, - New engine mounts, - New dual Brockman \'Mellowtone\' steelpacks exhaust/echo cans. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- What it needs/doesn\'t work: - The car\'s painted white pearl w/violet mist but that paintjob\'s 20 + year old and allowed to deteriorate with elements. There\'s plenty of surface rust and chipping/peeling paint all over but underneath this pre-war steel is very thick/solid. Except for the trunk\'s lower \'lip\' and tailight housings. These should be cut out an refabbed/filled-in with fresh metal prior to any serious paintjob. - The dash has some paint chip peeling and a rectangular hole cut into it on passenger side from a \'90s cassette/radio unit - originally installed there by the previous owner - which i threw out. - Both side window glass is cracked. I have at least one replacement an I think i might even have both spare sides. Regardless, it\'s flat glass so one can easily order custom replacements cut. - Gauges: speedo has a broken needle, tach stopped working correctly a couple of years ago. Water temp gauge also now often shows too low temp most of the time, this started to happen only recently. - Lastly, the driver\'s side running board has been modified to automatically fold up/down with door\'s opening/closing [via mechanical, non-powered set up] to allow for my wheelchair transfers [get my chair near the seat]. The only problem really for some of you might be that it now looks different from the factory stock right side running board. It was refabricated from scratch. For appearance\'s sake, you can either have the rght side board fabbed to match the left, or buy an original left side board and revert the driver\'s side back to stock. Or take both boards off like some drag racers did. I like the vibe and look of running boards personally. Pretty easy fix whichever way you\'d go, even if you do decide not to just let it stay as is. Also selling my beautiful show winning/multiple magazine featured kustom \'60 Ford Fairlane; please see my other ad here for more info on that car. Need $$$ to purchase a ride I can still do a wheelchair transfer into/out of without help for daily transportation. If it\'s a quick sale, I can significantly discount each separate car\'s selling price and sell both rides as a package for $40K total or B/O. Ad provided by OldCarOnline.com/cond>

An outstanding pro-built kustom with full article/photos features in 4 major magazines, including: "Rod %26 Custom", "Kustoms Illustrated", "Traditional Rod %26 Kulture" [including exclusive cover w/pin up model] and "Gears And Gals". 1st Place [2010] winner in the oldest - and the only one that matters - hot rod/custom show: the GNRS [Grand National Roadster Show] in the "Early Full Custom 55-64 Class". Built for a famous hot rod/tattoo artist, member of an exclusive and elite car club, by his club brother and a prominent car builder/painter himself; a KKOA [Kustom Kemps Of America] Hall Of Fam-er. This is a known ride on the custom scene with great show, magazine coverage, owner and builder pedigree. Seldom do such rides come on the market and they appreciate in value perpetually, this one with the added bonus of 4x magazine feature coverage, which rarely happens for any ride. Most top builders/owners are happy if their ride gets a single feature. This one has four, notwithstanding the1st place at the legendary 'GNRS' show when it was shown for the first time. Highest caliber work, done using traitional methods, e.g. minimal filler. Too much to list on this ride since virtually every inch of it has been skillfully shaped and/or modified, yet done very subtly. I'll list some of the most incredible work, modifications and fabrications done to this ride: - The car had its floorboards, lower quarters and rockers replaced to start with, next came the standard custom treatment, so the ride was nosed, decked, shaved and slammed. Then the incredible and extensive custom metamorphosis ensued using old school body/metal working technique with minimal body filler. - Sectioning [vertically] and moving the entire rear roofline/window forward of the trunk by about 9" for a sleeker look. - Extending the rear fins by 2" as well as front fender peaks/tips [strakes?] by 1.5" and filling the s/s trim holes by using a 1/4" steel rod. - Radiused and flared rear wheel wells to match the lines of front wells and front wheel wells were flared/peaked. - Shaved gas door [fuel fill tube relocated to the trunk into trunk mounted fuel cell]. - Hood peaks with fabbed scoops/portholes. - Multiple [dashboard/trunk-fins located] custom frenched/tunneled antennas. - Rounded corners/gap lines, molded tailights and grill opening prior to installing the custom floating tube grill [made by Clay Melton]. - Shaved door handles [activated via hidden spot by a magnet], shaved trunk lock [activated via a handle/cable from inside]. - Custom ordered 'chrome reverse' 15" wheels [Rally America] with radial Hankook tires [205/75 r15 and 235/75 r155 tires front/rear. The only modern item [still with period narrow stripes/walls though] but does wonders for the ride unlike the bias-ply tires. You can always change to period correct bias-plies of course. - The car was then professionally prepped and shot with a custom mix of "House Of Kolor" and "Sikkens" lacquers by Jeff Myers, a custom bodyman/painter whose talent and skill with traditional painting techniques is equaled only by very few contemporaries. There are various laquers and paint techniques utilized in this car's paint job. The paintjob includes a difficult to perfectly execute [and Jeff is one of the very few who can and did] mix of lacquers and techniques including pearl laquers, flake [roof and interior] laquer mix and the fabulous Watson-like "fadeaways". AFAIK the main body consists of the "House of Kolor" laquer with clear, over light purple metallic, single stage "Sikkens" base... and the fantastic 'fadeaway' job of course. The top is white pearl with flake and the interior panels/dash is shot with the same white pearl w/flake. Dash pinstriped by the legendary Blaine "BlaineO" Scott. - The unique custom art graphic on the ashtray cover is by owner himself, a prominent custom artist and tattoo artist, whose work is in high demand. There is the ubiquitous 'old school' pod of [lighted] trio of gauges mounted under the dash. - There's a modern stereo in the glove compartment, amp in trunk. - Hidden [behind the floating tube grill] front turnsignals which are activated by switches located under the dashboard left of the steering wheel. - All the switches [as well as the ignition key's head] changed to white teardrop lucite knobs and the steering wheel is white w/silver flake. - The interior has been custom upholstered in pearl white Naugahyde in a classic 'tuck %26 roll' style, including the headliner which features a central tuck'n'roll "centerline" - and plush black carpet on the floor. - All the 'bright work' rechromed, including both bumpers. - The engine/transimission combo [289ci/c4 auto] as well as the 9" rear end, etc. are from a restored '67 Ford Mustang, the owner of which was remaking it into a "Bullit" clone car and updating the entire driveline into hi-perf drivetrain. HEI ignition module by Pertronix. The engine compartment/components were purposely left stock-looking, without extra chrome/brightwork, for the pure, traditional kustom school vibe. - A professional power brake conversion [power booster/reservoir/lines/brake proportioner] was added after purchasing the ride from the owner, as was a Vintage Air A/C system, with a 'period correct' style of underdash console/control unit. The brakes are p/drums. Steering is non-powered to keep the car in the traditional custom vein. I'm a wheelchair bound quadriplegic and yet can easily drive it, a conversion to power steering is not needed; although of course it can easily be done if you'll find it so. Most of the work above was performed by important/prominent Midwest based builders/customizers, these include: - Jeff Myers of "Premier Body And Paint". Jeff is the original owner's club brother and the car's main builder. He created many of the body mods on this car and he shot the killer paint job. He's a KKOA Hall of Fame member [among his many killer builds, he was also featured on "Monster Garage" TV show series along Darryl Starbird, Gene Winfeld and Jesse James where they hammered a ride together. - "Hooligan Hotrods" shop - numerous body mods and fabrication. - Clay Melton - fabbed the custom tube grill. - "Clark's Hot Rod Repair" shop - performed the chassis work. - "American Muffler" and "Kool Rides" shops - custom exhaust and the scavenger tips. - "Stardust Upholstery" - made/installed the beautiful pearl white Naugahyde roll %26 pleat upholstery. - Jimmy Allen - wiring, etc.. - "Classic Body Works" shop/Steve Nicholson - nos glass installation. The car's mill sounds great and period correct through the custom exhaust/ traditional 'quad' scavenger exhaust tips. It gets an incredible 20-22 mpg on a highway and the vision all around is completely open due to the '60 Fairlane's "Jetsons"- like cab/glass greenhouse design. Despite its stunning looks and presence this car is built and meant to be a regular daily driver and it is truly a honey of a car to drive. The ride is styled in the pure traditional look of Midwest customs from the very early '60s [think Darryl Starbird, Elden Titus, et alia]. It's characterised by a 'clean' look, noticeable rake, tube grills, chrome reverse wheels, rounded corners, the iconic 'quad' scavenger exhaust tips, multiple 'tunneled' antennas, narrow white walls/stripes, 'fade' style paintjobs, etc. I've purchased this ride in September 2011. In early December 2011 I was hit by a tourbus on driver's side while parked in it in NYC. The car went back to Jeff/Kansas and he completely rebuilt/restored it which took over 2 years, using POR-15 on the metal panels before spraying primer and recreating the paintjob perfectly where the car was damaged. I was homebound for the next 4 years and thus lost a lot of already limited ability/strength. I can't wheelchair transfer into/out of it on my own anymore thus must sell. There's less than 200 miles on the car since the rebuild. Due to the nature of the optic laws of physics, the photos can't show the true way this paintjob actually looks in reality, one should see the car in person for the full effect and this paint truly seems to glow from within when viewed in person. Asking $32K or b/o. Includes a custom fitted $450+ 'superweave' car cover [best paint protecting cover type for sun/rain/snow/dirt by CalCarCover] w/lock %26 cable kit. Just look at prices of countless 'meh' customs which don't have the fraction of this car's show/coverage pedigree. Love the car and would never sell this ride but I'm a long term quadriplegic and can no longer transfer in/out of the car on my own. Thus I must sell both of my rides to buy something more practical for my needs. Also selling my rodded '36 Studebaker Dictator Cpe for $15k b/o. Or $40k for both cars. See my other ['36 Stude] ad for info/pics on that ride. Ad provided by OldCarOnline.com/cond>
