Looking for a project car? 1995, It was the last year they made this E320 Cabriolet (and coupe). I bought this out of state two years ago with the goal to use it as a toy and tool around here around the beach and restore it slowly over the years. It is or was running car (battery is dead). The convertible was working, now hydraulic fluid seem to drip from the trunk lid, my fault I am sure. It needs shocks, suspension work and just some really good love. It had a leak from the transmission since I parked it over a year ago. I have not taken it in to check, I let the registration expire. Clean title. My current girlfriend/fiancee is tired of visiting me and having to park on the street here and asked me to sell it. I promised her I would try and do just that. This car is not perfect it ,however it is a very clean example of a STREET LEGAL RACE CAR and much cleaner than most MK2 you are going to see. At some point it appears title was rebuilt however I have the arkansas title to the car in previous owners name which appears to be clear.That being said Im making sure its listed as rebuilt though it likely is clean. All and all it will need a few things sorted im sure however the major stuff has been done, its solid on the road and the car is an absolute blast to drive! I WILL MISS THIS CAR! Im not sure if its the close ratio gear box or just the huge smile on my face every time I drive it, but this car feels like every bit of 300hp! Exterior: Car looks great for a 92 vw sitting on the Ewing 16" wheels and Coilovers. I have not seen any major rust on this car. It comes with a Gti red paint job complete with multi black stripes.She has minor dings and blemishes around and some clear coat peel on roof however all and all I would say the car looks good and much better than most that I see. not perfect but very presentable in my opinion. see pics for further details as I feel pictures tell the story best. Interior: The inside of this car is very complete and well kept for a 92' though it will need a headliner, however overall its in great shape including the seats and almost all the little interior bits and pieces are intact which is very rare for an MK2(speaker grills,Buttons,trim, Door panel,handles ect..99% of the stuff is there and in great shape). Most importantly, It has a clean smoke free cabin, WORKING SUNROOF, working Mk3 Dash Cluster showing 129K (exempt) w/Engine light on which should be expected due to all the performance upgrades, Nice complete dash with a few expected cracks but looks great! Upgrades include Kenwood CD w/ipod connect and New Kenwood 6x9, Corrado steering wheel, Cluster mounted boost gauge, Innovate Motorsport Air Fuel gauge (digital), New GTI red stick shift boot cover in leather, and stainless shift knob. I would rate this interior way above average! Driving:Car runs and drives quite smooth. Engine is smooth on a morning start,runs strong and produces incredible power. The 5 speed shifts very smooth and the clutch in strong and easy to drive. Brakes are smooth,steering is tight and very responsive and the car handles corners with ease due to the strut bars,new tires on 16"wheels along with Raceland coilovers. this is my 2008 2500HD duramax 4X4. truck was 100% stock when i got it with 54000 miles ant started my dream build at around 65000 miles. the truck is an LTZ black leather with every option but sunroof. even has rear entertainment package with headphones heated seats. Z71 package, rear parking sensors, rear power sliding window, power everything, navigation. truck has a 7-9 non torsion bar drop cognito lift kit with tubular cognito upper a arms and cognito upgraded front driveshaft with deaver rear springs and braided brake lines, amp electric running boards, 35" toyo mt's on 20x10 rims. also included is a matching full size spare rim with toyo tire. rims are chrome but plasti dipped black so can be removed if chrome was desired again. has a 50" dual row light bar on top with so cal super truck mounts. the updated chevy body mounts have been put on for a softer ride. it has a duraliner in the bed, which is a bed liner with a non slip rubber matt. for power it has an SDP twin turbo kit with a polished s475 over stock turbo and black powder coated pipes. comes with brand new PPE boost boots that have yet to be installed. trans was built by mike L at inglewood transmission with his newer kit and a BTdieselworks torque converter lockup controller. has a DSP5 switch with ATP (idaho rob) tuning and 5 selectable tunes. MBRP 5" turbo back exhaust with muffler, air dog 165 lift pump, kryptonite front tie rods, custom DOM traction bars with rebuildable currie johnny joints on the ends, auto meter gauges on the pillar, 2 new batteries, battery relocated to inside frame rail, and a fitted california car cover. truck has tinted windows and comes with all stock factory pieces from suspension to exhaust and nothing was cut or removed that couldn't be put back to stock if so desired. only thing i don't have is the stock wheels. this was my dream truck and only driven on the road. never off road or used for towing or work, never raced or even put on a dyno. hate to sell it but buying a house and the money is needed. clear title in hand. always get compliments on the soft ride and its fast. truck has 78,000 miles as it sits.
