You could consider it a "barn find" but it was my grandfather's and it was parked in his car shop for a 11 years. One day were decided to examine the Jeep and see what was mechanically wrong. We put a new fuel pump on, fired up now hesitation. And we drove it around the block. Didn't smoke either. He asked if I wanted to fix it up, yes!........ But I never use it. It's actually had the gold pin striping, chrome trim. Im not a Jeep guy but other enthusiasts has always commented on the well kept conditional. I have listed my HS250 as private owned. I am the second owner. I purchased online site unseen from Donohoo Auto back in June of 2013. I hold a Texas used auto dealer license and the title is held in my dealership name. This has been my wife's personal car since we bought it. Because the title is in my dealership name (note the personalized dealer plates), a Texas buyer will have to pay 6.25% sales tax plus the Title, License and transfer fees to me at the time of purchase. I will not add any other fees to the purchase. Out of Texas buyers will only have to pay me the purchase. I typically purchase a car for myself and my wife every two years. We kept this one a little over two years. I ususally purchase a 3 year old model. I am replacing the HS250 with a 2013 Lexus GS. This is our 10th Lexus. We both drive one. I have a hybrid RX450 with 160k miles that is my daily driver. The HS250 for sale is in excellent condition. It is always garaged at home. I know of no problems mechanically, electrically or electronically. It has never been in the shop for anything other than routine maintenance and to install the latest GPS navigation data (done by Park Place Lexus a year ago). As for the value of this car, on January 9th, Park Place Lexus of Plano, TX offered me $15,000 as a trade in. They didn't have 2013 GS in the color we wanted so we did not end up trading. I don't know of any options that this HS is missing other than the Mark Levinson sound system and I'm not sure it was available on the HS in 2010. My HS has navigation and the tech package with adaptive cruise, lane keep assist and heads up display. I don't know if that makes it the premium package or the ultra premium. If I have called it ultra in the title, and I'm wrong, I apologize. I've sold several autos and motorcycles on ebay with perfect feedback, no disappointed buyers and no returns. 57 year old female driven, no wear from kids or pets. 2 remote key fobs, all manuals. The set of Pirelli Cinturato P7s have half tread. I live in Mt Pleasant, TX, but I have the HS in Dallas with my son because Dallas is a more likely place to sell the car. This car was owned since 1998 by a local businessman whohas kept it garaged the entire time. I have known this car since he purchased it in 1998.I am a long time Corvette enthusiast/owner and former President of the Texas Chapterof the National Corvette Restorers Society, NCRS. Excellent Condition inside and out with low 42k miles. White Convertible top (original).Rear tires will need to be replaced within next few thousand miles. LTPWS (Low TireWarning) system light comes on when car warms ups, although the system doesfunction and will tell you of a low tire. I have not taken to the Chevy dealer for anevaluation. Please note small blemish in drivers seat bottom that is easily repairable. Surface tear, very small, no missing leather. I have done nothing to the car since I purchased it just a few weeks ago. Engine runsstrong, transmissions shift perfectly. I don't know of any problems with this car otherthan the LTPWS. I just spoke with the 17 year owner who confirmed this was the onlyknown problem. Owner reports minor paint work to the driver's side front quarter paneland door that did not require any panel or door replacement. Total repair bill wasaround $1000 as he recalls. This is a beautiful example of this last year model in the best possible colors. A noexcuses car that will be hard to duplicate. Very low miles, unmolested, garaged, witha long term mature owner.
