Perfect for a tier one restoration. Up for your consideration is a 1975 Toyota FJ40 - bought 2 years ago from Arizona - Why Arizona? - because in the North East they have rust issues! I searched long and hard for his one! If I can get my price I will sell it. if not, I will hold on to it. It is a dry frame and body with original paint. It needs a restoration but I bought it as it is solid and original. Engine and transmission is fine. It does need a front end. It also needs a complete exhaust from the manifold to the tailpipe. Original engine and transmission - NOT a 350 retrofit like many of them have! Engine was tuned, new water pump, fluids changed and new hydraulic clutch reservoir. New Factory original shock absorbers. Car includes 5 original restored rims (not pictured). Brakes were installed and has many spare parts (NOS) to go with it. Included is a NOS radiator which is still in the box.Interior is good, not perfect; some tares in the front seat - rear seats are original - no aftermarket changes! The top had a sunroof put in which is not original to the car. That can easily be removed and sheet metal welded over.Its a cool truck and these restored are in the 70K+ range. I am open to negotiation, but low ball numbers - don't waste my time or yours.Car needs to be towed, as it has not been started since December. The only ting not original is the radio -This FJ40 is for sale as is / where is with no warranties expressed or implied. I am selling my 1994 GMC Suburban, essentially as either a project truck or a parts vehicle. It has a 454 CID (7.4L) with 4WD, headers, air horns, an on-board air compressor, air bags and a straight through exhaust. The truck runs and is driveable, but has heavy rust on the rear frame rails and can no longer be used for towing. The engine and ABS have nuisance codes that have to be cleared every so often. Due to the rust, the rearmost ends of the frame rails are tied into the rear floor pan with threaded rod; however, the air bags are used support the weight above the rear leaf springs. All six doors were reworked last year with new sheet metal and are in great shape. The engine runs well but could probably use a rebuild soon due to the miles. There is essentially no body damage and the only real rust is what has affected the rear frame. Parts that can be transferred to another vehicle or sold include: 4L80E workhorse transmission (rebuilt in mid 2015)Transfer caseAll six doors (reworked last year) and hoodAll seatsFront and rear axles I will provide many spare parts, including: tires; rear third row seat; intake manifold, wiring harness and computer to convert TBI to EFI fuel injection; all factory manuals. I have for sale a 1998 Jaguar XJ8 in the Vanden Plas trim. This car has every available option, including air conditioning, heated front and rear seats, leather, power everything, premium sound system, and 6 disc CD changer. The two rear tires are very new and the front tires have about 60 or 70% tread. This car runs and drives perfectly and as it should. It has the 4.0L V8 paired to the 5 speed automatic transmission. The interior and exterior are in very good condition, as seen in the pictures. This car is a pleasure to drive, with all electronics working perfectly. Some things replaced this summer are the headliner, battery, radiator, upper shock bushings, and new center caps for the rims. The only problems with this car is a very slow coolant leak from a hose and a slight squeaking that happens sometimes from the front left lower shock bushing, which is wearing out. Both are easy fixes, I just don't have the time and soon won't be in town any more. Feel free to ask any questions about the car! It is available for local pickup only, in Long Valley, NJ.
