1968 Road Runner 440 4 speed. It was an original 383 4 speed car. I have fender tag for it no build sheet. Car was from California and I bought it in Arizona. I have clear PA title in my name and I drive it daily car runs and drives very nice and everything works. The 440 has 30000 Original miles on it and it's 1973 steel crank out of a motorhome. Has a new McLeod clutch and all correct hurst shifter and linkage. Car is a power steering 26 inch rad power brake car originally. Now has manual brakes power steering and 26 inch champion rad brand new. 11 inch drums all around and new shoes. Has brand new front end all new exhaust with flow masters and hooker headers. The whole drivetrain is like new! The car has very little rust but does need some body work and a center trunk floor but that's it for rust repair Started restoring the interior and have some nice parts. Nice daily driver fun to drive or easy winter project This is a real Road Runner with the fender tag perfect and still in car, all markings including dash, body panels match number on tag. Also this is not a northern car it was ordered and bought in LA and spent its whole life there untill 10 years ago it was moved to Arizona and that is where I bought it a year and 1/2 ago and had it transported to PA. The frame has benn checked on a frame machine to be 100 percent perfect and was aligned after putting brand new cooper cobra tires on it. The car just glides down the road. Car is missing the heater box, and seat belts. Also I have been very detailed in restoring the car to original. I also have very nice switch panel pad and armrest. Leather interior is pretty nice but needs a good cleaning. 2 sets of wheels included with car...the aluminum turbines (pictured) no longer have tires on them and the car is sitting on steel wheels with random mismatched tires. Well maintained, second owner. Originally Prince William County, VA. traffic control unit #1742. It was used as a school crossing guard unit and was never marked or had a light bar. There are two antenna holes in the deck lid. Paint is pretty nice for being original, but there are the normal dings and scuffs. I have added many upgrades to this car as I planned on keeping it for the rest of my life, but I have too many cars and need to gain some space. I took the car on a 2400 mile round trip last month and got between 23-24 mpg and had zero issues even in the Florida heat. I have done all work on this car myself and have recently replaced front sway bar links, say bar bushings, exhaust hangers, replaced all fluids with synthetic, etc. Before I got the car, many things had just been replaced as well including: Intake manifold, alternator, battery, 5 new tires (spare is still in trunk, never been on the ground), radiator hoses, etc. Sale of car will include boxes of spare parts and some brand new stuff as well.
