Offering for sale, one exceptionally nice, stock El Camino. This is the last year Chevrolet produced the sought after car/truck. I purchased it last year from a retired man from the dry AZ climate. This car has not been molested/cut/modified in any way (only tastefully upgraded). It appears to have one high quality repaint in factory colors. The exterior panels are exceptionally straight; even the inside of the bed is near perfect. The 50-50 split bench seat is nicer than stock and is very plush & comfortable, which has a fold down center armrest. This is the Conquista model, with all power factory options., including the factory tachometer. The radial tires are new, with about 500 miles on them, as well as the front-end alignment. This car appears to have been gently used since new, as evident inside the bed. All the chrome, britework and glass is excellent. The fully polished 15" aluminum wheels are made by American Racing, and the leather wrapped steering wheel by LeCarra. The stock radio & speakers were replaced with a very nice am/fm/cd/ipod tuner and two upgraded, in-dash speakers only ! No cutting was involved; just a nice, clean upgrade, Everything works as it should: factory air conditioning blows cold, power windows/locks/manual remote mirrors, cruise control, etc., etc..Roof rail & door weatherstrips recently replaced, as well as Dynamat was added to insides of doors for additional sound deadening. There is absolutely no evidence of any rust anywhere, including the bed floor or under rear glass/storage compartment. This car is solid, reliable, well cared for and maintained, and gets as many compliments & thumbs up as my hot rods, and is a joy to drive. This 1925 Oldsmobile is about as original as you will find. It has the original tools, including jack and engine crank. The original pot metal distributor is in a bag with all the parts. It was replaced with a 1927 auto-advance distributor with a steel body. The carburetor on the car is SF1 Universal ($1,200). The original and functional Johnson H is also with the car. In 1924 and 1925 Oldsmobile was the first to offer dealer-installed options at additional cost. The deluxe sedan included the options with a higher sticker price. This car also has a dealer-installed tail light with \"brake\" and pedal activated switch and all four wheels have snubbers (three need new snubber strap). Mechanically the car is excellent. Compression is perfect on all 6 cylinders. It starts, runs, shifts and drives as a 1925 car should. The brake pads and wheel bearings are like new. The Firestone tires, tubes and wheel liners have less than 100 miles on them. The radiator is clean and I have never had it overheated. The upholstery and headliner are MOHAIR and in great condition. The original interior door handles are missing. The door hinges are a little loose but with some pressure when closing, the doors close fine. The paint needs improvement but it looks good at 20 feet. The gas gauge does not work but has a lifetime guarantee from Oldsmobile for fluid replacement at any dealer (as stated in the manual included with the car).
