I think that 5 cyl motor is not enough for SUV and 8 cyl Volvo was on the market for just a few years, so it was a mistake or just too little parts for sale for future. That would leave me with the best solution - 6 cylinder motor. 2. FWD simply wouldn't take to the all places you would like to go, and will not be the same stable on the road as AWD (with this model automatic AWD the difference in gas millage is only 1 mpg!) 3. This car has a SPORT package - bigger tires, roof ski rack and towing hitch (5000 lbs) with flat 4 pin connector. 4. Best of all, I'm the original owner since this car had 00002 miles on it. I know FOR SURE the full history of this vehicle. I bought this 2008 model new in February 2009 and sticker price was $45,200 because of all the toys it has (see photo of original sticker) --- Mechanically: Serviced at Volvo dealer Stations - all records are in the system. Years ago had defective power steering gasket, which was re-placed and never gave me a problem since. Battery changed last year. Brakes will need to be changed this year. Rotors are like new. This is it. As you can see I'm happy with worry free car!
