This is a good example of an Unmolested, ORIGINAL paint, MATCHING NUMBERS (see photos) NON-smoker, Solid, California, Rust Free 1988 very rare BMW 325 Super ETA. Please see all photos and videos below to appreciate. Up for sale I have my beautiful 1988 Zinnoberrot 2 Door automatic BMW 325 Super ETA with 150k Miles (on a "working odometer"). If you're not familiar with the "Super ETA", its a "325" equipped with the 2.7 liter motor. It was BMW's base model from 1986 until 1988. In its final year, the 1988 325 (dubbed "Super Eta" by enthusiasts) was equipped from the factory with a 325i cylinder head, unique pistons, 325i exhaust system, and Motronic 1.1 engine management control, which bumped horsepower up to 128 and raised the redline to 5500 RPM. An easy way to spot a Super ETA is its telltale 6000 RPM tachometer and the gear "S" on the automatic transmission. (see photos) It has a smooth 2.93 Rear End which gives great MPG on the freeway, however, for whatever reason, this happens to be the quickest Automatic E30 that I've ever owned/driven...most automatic e30s are slugs, not this one! (see video)Not only that, but the car drives great, there are No oil leaks anywhere... Also what makes this body type special, is the fact that it has the late model Tail Lights and Valance with integrated Fog Lights, so you can completely change the look of the car if you want, with the Plastic or Euro Bumpers. So if you're looking for a long term, classy, reliable, comfortable, nice looking E30 that you can cruise on the weekends, or use as a daily driver in traffic enjoying the cold A/C, and not worry about overheating, is here!...but if you want a Bimmer Toy to race around, please look else where. I'm sure there are plenty of those on Craigslist...I've put a lot of time into this car and would like to see it go into good hands... CLEAN and Clear Title, Pink Slip in hand.CA Tags are good 'til June 2016. Although the car is 28 years old, and obviously it can not be perfect, I have posted lots of photos to cover as many angles on this car as anyone can see in areas where not too many people would even think to look for signs of Rust, Bondo/Accidents ,etc (see trunk, quarter panels photos) and a few Videos to show how well it runs, plus the Working Odometer which seems to be a big deal on E30s these days..Only reason for selling this car, is the fact that we need to down size on the number of cars we own. I have 8 other BMWs. This is one of the Most reliable Daily Driver from my collection, but the Insurance Cost on 12 cars is getting ridiculous, plus I'm getting too old to keep up with all these cars... This car is Adult Owned, unmolested unlike other E30s out there, all stock, with some tasteful "is" upgrades: Sport Seats, 14" BBS Basketweaves, M-Tech steering Wheel, HID Low Beams, and Front Lip. The few issues with the car that I didn't get a chance to deal with since they were not that serious, are: Brake Lining Light (probably faulty sensors), Anti-Lock Light (bad relay) and the antenna got stuck half way going down. Also, it idles a lil higher than normal when in "Parked" gear.The Dash was perfect until a month ago (1 crack in the middle-see photos), and the Glovebox light is out. Worked done within the last 2 years:Rebuilt Alternator (3 months ago w/1 yr warranty)New OEM Struts (last year) Oil Change (always) with Castrol GTX 20-50(3 months ago)New Bosch spark plugs (3 months ago)Ice Cold A/C serviced (6 months ago)All New Belts (3 months ago)New Oil Pan Gasket (3 months ago) All work was done by BMW experts at JMP AutoWerks in Reseda CA IF YOU'RE LOCAL, PLEASE DON'T ASK FOR A "TEST DRIVE".
