For event information call 779-552-8766 For those of you who are not familiar with Kirkham Motor Sports, they are the premier manufacturer of replica Cobras. The bodies are all aluminum with a steel chassis which are identical to the original car. This car has been fitted with a Keith Kraft all aluminum 427 side oiler, which has been bored and stroked to 482 cubic inches. The engine was built with all premium parts, including a roller cam. The engine was dynoed at 622 horsepower. A Richmond 6-speed over-drive transmission delivers the power to the Salsbury rear end, which has an aluminum center section packing 3:31 gears and a Detroit locker. All this horsepower is brought to a halt via Wilwood 1 ¼ vented rotors and 4 piston caliper disc brakes on all 4 corners. The Kirkham aluminum bodies are the only bodies used by Shelby American for the reproduction Cobras. This particular car was ordered and built by a well-educated real Cobra enthusiast who carefully chose the options that allow the driver to experience what it was like to drive one of these Cobras back in the mid ‘60s. It has been meticulously maintained, always stored in a climate controlled environment and has approximately 8,000 miles since new. It was driven on the 2007 Power Tour and delivered 12-14 miles to the gallon at 70mph. The car is extremely reliable, and at just under 2200lbs is extremely responsive. With a beautiful black finish and subtle dark gray stripes it will surely drop jaws as quickly as it drops the competition. KEY HIGHLIGHT ** crate dana 44 axle from dynatrac front and rear w/ 4.54 gears** these axles are not to be under estimated ! the axle tube thickness is thicker than stock rubicon dana 44 axles, they are thicker than the newest jk wrangler ( 2007- current ) axles. both front and rear have E lockers that are hooked up to toggle switches between the center dash blowers and are lighted. please allow yourself ( if you do not know jeeps ) to review / research what is on this jeep . note rear axle is now a caliper / rotor , currently has no front drive shaft, has a stock drive shaft for a dana 44 rear end. modifications i have new that need to be installed : rear (smitty built) tire swing ( heavy duty, up to 40" tire ), centerforce clutch, *** np231 slip yoke eliminator transfer case new in box *** , 3 point retractable harness, problems : bad wiper motor / switch , damage to front fender and flare ( custom from american expidtion vehicles ), vehicle will need custom drive shafts due to dana 44 axles ( front ) and slip yoke eliminator kit ( rear ) . currently : vehicle is driveable, plated and insured , some inside floor board rust that has been P.O.R'ed no body rust, frame is A. calls only - derek eight one five nine seven nine 0526 morepics upon request. this is not your average jeep. Selling my 1999 Trans Am convertible, car is not a true WS6 but it does have a Ram Air hood with OEM WS6 rims. Everything is bone stock other than the Whisper air intake and Flowmaster muffler (sounds aggressive but not loud). Has 122k miles on a healthy LS1, oil changed every 3k with Mobil 1 full synthetic. Custom white racing stripes done professionally and are under clear coat and not a decal. The entire car was repainted at the same time as the stripes 3 years ago. The paint is nicer than any F-body you'll see for sale. The interior is in good condition as well, minus the flaws on the bottom of the driver's seat (as pictured). A/C blows ice cold, dash has no cracks, and the CD player is in good working order. The transmission was rebuilt less than 10k miles ago and has no issues.
