1968 Chevelle 396SSLooking to drive a legendary piece of American Muscle Car History? This is a beautiful and rust-free example of a nearly original 1968 396 SS Chevelle... The GOOD;· 50,000 original miles and it looks it.· Real 1968 396 SS = VIN -13878K123898· Very, very rust free..· Still has the original jack (spare looks original as well)· Was originally an A/C car, so you can add the A/C back and be comfortable in the summer without screwing up the originality of the car.· About 8 years ago the car was repainted, the vinyl top was replaced and the front seats were recovered, the rest of the car is original and in great shape and was always garaged. I think even the exhaust is still original. The Less Good;· The brakes work but the rubber components are showing their age and should be replaced if you’re planning on making a daily driver· The paint looks good but it’s not show quality (minor scratches and imperfections that won’t show in the pictures).· At some point in its past somebody removed the A/C· Not a Matching Number car – The engine is from a 1968 Chevelle SS but the last 3 digits do not match the serial number.· Engine and transmission both drip a little when parked. If you have any questions, please give me a call at 417-274-4397.Thanks, Kevin I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime due to a local sale. 2002 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Limited Edition (Z4C package in addition to the WU8 SS package). The Limited Edition package is the only car that offers the 17 black/stainless wheels and this particular color scheme. 95K miles, loaded, t-top, auto, 2-tone leather (custom for the Limited Edition), excellent condition inside and out. From GM it was sent to SLP (Street Legal Performance) to have the 345hp package installed with includes an SLP high-flow ram air lid and the dual/dual catback exhaust. From SLP, they additionally installed the SLP 400hp Performance Pack ($4000 extra) which includes SLP long tube headers, SLP high flow cats, and SLP high-flow mass air sensor, all as factory- added, making this car rarer. There were 3667 Limited Editions made worldwide. Only 934 were automatic coupes. Of those numbers, far less was sent to SLP for further modification, making this Camaro a very rare setup. There are a lot of others claiming the 35th Anniversary Editions, but the Limited Editions were only made in this exact color scheme (Rally Red with the 2 silver racing flag stripes). The interior also has a lot of factory embroidering done with the 35th Anniversary SS emblems (seat, mats, trunk mat). An aftermarket modification to this car is the GMMG cat-back exhaust and is the best exhaust available for this car.
