Simply, an ultra-smooth highway cruiser that fires up the first time, every time*. The car runs and drives extremely well and accelerates superbly. The brakes stop the car on a dime and the steering and suspension are in tip top condition. All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems work like they should (The power windows, seats, aerial, cruise control, auto & delay headlights, gauges and instruments) The air conditioning blows strong ice cold air. The body is all original (no dents) along with the paint and chrome. Absolutely gorgeous! The chassis and frame are 100% rust free. The car has always been garage kept and a true credit to its original owner for the loving and caring ownership given to her. The lovely two tone finish is 69-"Chesterfield brown" metallic (2656) 91-"Amberlite" Firemist (2873)The paint shines brilliantly. There are some very minor imperfections here and there but the finish presents very well (light hazing on the hood and truck). The biscuit leather interior looks virtually new without any signs of wear, marks, scratches or blemishes of any kind. The headliner is like new without any of the typical sagging of the fabric often seen on these cars. All finishes, chrome, faux wood and carpets present beautifully. It is truly very nice and sumptuously inviting. My father had the car for 36 years and I recently took ownership this past year. I drive it daily and it runs great for a 37 year old car. The seats have taken alot of wear due to the daily use of the car yet my father for about 16 years has had seat covers on them to help preserve and minimize the wear and tear. The mechanics are good, my mechanic said that the A/C unit is in working condition yet it needs a special freon that california does not sell anymore. I'm not quite sure yet that is what he said a month ago when it stopped blowing cold air. This car is a beauty and very fun to drive. I have held on to it for sentimental reasons, yet I am not a car enthusiast and don't have the time, know how or money to restore it fully for showroom status. I think it is time to sale it to someone who will be able to make it brand new status even though my dad wishes I would keep it.
