This is a very rare car, only 125 produced and only a few (I estimate less than 10) left. You will probably never see another one. I purchased it along with others and just never got around to restoring it. I did have a dual master cylinder installed but other than that it is stock as far as I can tell It runs well and stops correctly. I have not driven it much, as it had Minnesota antique license plates and I just drove it that way. I do have it insured along with my other collector cars. The upholstery looks fine and the interior is also nice. Not comparable with modern cars to drive though!! I am planning on downsizing and will be losing my garages. LaSalle was produced from 1927 to 1940 and were produced by Cadillac Corporation as a "Junior Cadillac" The engine is the same as the 1940 Cadillac except bore is 1/4 inch less and horsepower is 20 HP less. Often during rebuilds LaSalle owners bore out to Cadillac dimensions 346 Cubic inches rather than 322 that LaSalle has. 20 extra horsepower hidden! Cadillac stopped selling the LaSalle as it was cutting into Cadillac sales. The convertibles are very rare and costly but mechanical parts are readily available from many sources as large number of sedans and coupes were produced. The upholstery is a caramel color, the pictures do not show it well due to lighting and cell phone camera. Feel free to ask questions. If you are old enough you may remember Archie and Edith singing "And gee our LaSalle ran great those were the days" . Essentially a little smaller car of Cadillac quality. Discontinued because it was actually stealing Cadillac customers.

Original 1935 LaSalle Sedan. Unrestored. Flathead straight 8 cylinder engine. Manual 3 speed transmission. Runs and drives. New fuel pumps manual and electric. New brakes. New 6 volt battery positive ground system. Keep it as is original or restore it. This car was garaged all of its life. Looks good inside and out. Original owners certificate with car. I bought the car from the brother of a man who had owned the car for over 20 years. The owner died 8 years prior to when I bought the car. The brother who I bought the car from restores cars but never restored this one. This car is all original. The only thing added is a new voltage regulator. The old one is still on the car but has been bypassed. As for the brakes , New master cylinder and one of the wheel cylinder replaced the others were ok. The shoes were relined. Cleaned and regreased the front wheel bearings. Adjusted the steering gear to remove slack. Replaced diff seal. Rewired the dash light operation. Repaired dome light. I have additional notes about the car I will pass on to the new owner. I will also contact the person that I bought the car from (the person who did the repairs)and see if he would be willing to talk to any prospective new owner.
