pleased to offer this true survivor .This Cadillac Sedan De Ville has been cared for with great detail. nearly mint I say that because its 28 years old that being said it as nice as I have every seen all original except front filler have been replace do to cracks in them. but I have owned it for many years and has been fun to drive it always cranks right up and ready to go . I am down sizing is the only reason I am sailing it. always been garage kept every thing works that I no of climate control A/C ice cold tires are all good only thing that it need it the button on steering column for cruise control and only defect it a small piece on the filler on back. see pic. The De Ville was first shown during the 1949 Autorama as a concept. The De Ville went through 4 generations leading up to the fifth introduced in 1977. The fifth generation was produced from 1977 through 1984 and saw the last of the true rear wheel drive De Villes. 1984 saw the end of the rear wheel drive De Villes before changing to a front wheel drive platform allowing this De Ville to stay true to its original roots. Under the hood it is equipped with an HT4100 4.1L V8 engine. The HT moniker which stood for High Technology meant the engine was quite sophisticated for its time due to its use of multiple lightweight metals and better emission control. The 4.1L V8 allowed the car to put out 135 hp at 4400 rpm and 190 lbft of torque at 2000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission. The suspension provides a smooth comfortable ride true to Cadillacs style which is to be expected. This De Ville is coated in a beautiful tan paint which matches the interior leather allowing the car to remain sophisticated without seeming too busy. The dash features wood grain with a radio, cruise control and a Climate Control Panel which allows the driver to view every performance aspect of the engine. Full power windows and a drivers power seat with tilt which allows for comfort with ease. Both body color side moldings and winged crests on both the parking and tail lamps also prove that its the little details that make a car. The Sedan De Ville has long been a sophisticated luxury car for less money since its debut.
