My ex brother in law passed away last year and this was his car. His only son lives out of state so I acquired this vehicle to sell it for him. I have only driven the car about 50 miles and it has always run nice and has lots of power. It is smooth and quiet going down the road. The body is very nice with a few imperfections. There is a small paint scab on deck lid and the rear bumper is cracked on the right side and slightly loose. The left door panel is loose at the bottom. The air conditioning cover under the hood is cracked and taped with duct tape, but does not seem to affect the operation of the heat or air. As far as I can tell all the accessories are working at this time. I have never changed the oil and it is pretty clean and the antifreeze is up near the top. I have only looked under this vehicle from the ground and can not see anything but normal wear and rust from a 2002 vehicle. The ABS light is erratic and comes on at times. I was told that a rear wheel bearing is acting up with a speed senor on it. It does not seem to affect the operation of the vehicle. The Michelin tires are worn and cracked, but the car ride and drives very smooth with them, but they will need replaced in the near future. Overall this is a nice average - above average vehicle. I am telling you what I know about the vehicle. It seems to have a good drive train and drives like it should. My brother in law bought this vehicle in 2012 for $8000. It was a extremely clean car then but has been stored outside the last few years, but still has decent paint. I have had issues getting insurance on this vehicle and need to move it ASAP. I have for sale a 1977 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Landau Traditional Endloader hearse. This car was my dream car and took a few years to find exactly what I had been looking for. However, I am forced to sell it in order to help fund household projects in dire need. The car is in good condition but does need some body work and paint and tinkering. The car runs and drives but has been parked for a couple years after I bought it due to the fuel pump vapor locking. Before summer ended I replaced the driver side power window motor but did not reinstall the door panel yet. This is originally a triple black car, Sable Black paint, Black vinyl and brocade interior and the black crinkle top was painted over with white by the last funeral that had it in service. All glass is intact and no cracks. Here is a breakdown of what it needs and some parts I am including with it. The passenger side sunvisor will need repaired as it doesnt want to stay up. The casket area lighting will need replacement bulbs. The driver side door panel will need to be installed. I installed a rare driver side mirror with factory thermometer but the fiber optic lighting cable will need hooked up to light source. The casket table, which I was told is a Jewish roller setup, is in good shape but will need a good cleaning. I HAVE ALL HISTORY ON THIS VEHICLE FROM THE TIME THE CHASSIS LEFT GM TO EVERY FUNERAL HOME UP UNTIL WHEN I PURCHASED IT. ALL HISTORY IS PRINTED ON PAPERS SENT TO ME FROM THE DMV.I ALSO HAVE MANY RECEIPTS FROM PARTS PURCHASES KEPT IN A FOLDER. I also have a spare Cadillac 425 and Turbo 400 at different location for extra if interested. Overall as with many project cars for sale, this thing can be a stunner if it was someones main project and had the extra time and money to put into it. Price: $4700.00 OBO This Catera is my Mothers. She is the original and only owner. She has always kept the car in the garage. It has very low mileage because she only drives it typically a couple times a week to church and the store. She is a non-smoker. The car is extremely clean inside and out. I did not notice any blemishes to speak of on the inside. I checked all of the components and everything appears to be in good working order with the exception of the AC, the air coming out was not very cold. The exterior has only a few light blemishes. It has some very light scratches / scuffs that are hard to see. I could find only one minor spot of rust on the right rear fender well. It appears to be surface rust only and is about the size of a dime (Please see last photo). The tires have good tread left on them and the wheels have a good sheen, but have some brake dust residue and some light pitting. I am not a mechanic, but the car sounds and runs very good. The oil was always changed regularly and all regular maintenance was kept up on it. The only thing I could notice while driving it was, if you take your hand off the wheel, it will veer a little bit left and I noticed when going over a bump that the front shocks/struts may be a little bit worn out.
