Welcome to this listing for a Remarkable 1970 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe. This amazing representation of a high quality luxury vehicle was just traded to us from by the third owner of the car who had it in storage for the last 14 years. It is truly a rare find and it is in original unmolested condition. The total production of the 1970 Cadillac Eldorado was only 23,842. How many of these gorgeous cadillac's can possible be left? This one even has the Factory original owners manual. The miles showing on the odometer are 98,004 and are believed to be the actual miles on the Cadillac Eldorado, although the title currently is exempt from an odometer statement. The powerplant is the 8.2 Litre V-8 with engine code S. It produces 400 horsepower at 4400 rpm, and 550 FT LBS of torque at 3300 rpm. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and properly. Of course the Cadillacs come with an abundance of options including Power Steering - Power Assist Disc Brakes - Power Windows - Power Door locks - Tilt Steering - Cruise Control (not working) - Air Conditioning with Climate Control - Front Wheel Drive - and AM-FM radio with factory under dash 8 track tape player. The body and paint on the Eldorado are in extremely good condition as this Luxury Cruiser was kept inside. You will notice a minor surface rust just behind the rear window (shown in the photos) and some minor flaking on the door (also shown in the photos), still in great shape for a 45 year old car. The interior is in remarkably good condiion. You can see wear on the seats which is to be expected of a car this age. You could say this is a "Barn Find" which seems to automatically bring up the value just by the mention of the words. Yet, this Cadillac was driven on rare occasion. It is respectable and drivable in current condition or would make a super candidate for a restoration. On a scale from 1 to 10 overall it probably resides in the 7 range. It is just a great example of a loved and well cared for car. It's kinda like going back in time to about 1979 and stopping by your local Cadillac dealer and looking for a used luxury car and this would be the one they show you.
