I have a absolutely gorgeous 1986 Buick Grand National with 9,977 original miles for sale. I was going to hold off till Spring to sell but I figured let's give it a go now. The interior is nearly flawless with all original seats, carpet and interior finishes. The headliner was just done as they all start to sag at some point. I have owned several Grand Nationals over the years and this one is one of the cleaner ones that I have owned. I personally like the 86 model year because they are almost the same as an 87 but lighter due to the aluminum brake drums and aluminum bumper supports. They also are more rare as production numbers are much lower for 1986. The paint looks all original to my eye and the exhaust is also all original. I did not find any rust in the typical places on this car. this is simply a great example of what you would have owned 30 years ago. ***On 1/12/2017 at Mecum auto auction in Orlando Florida a 1987 Grand National with 15,000 miles sold for $41,000. This is a 17 years in storage barn find vehicle. Actually garage find. We purchased this vehicle from the second owner of over 25 years this past year, and it's now time to let someone else to enjoy it. The good news is: That this is the real deal GN turbo V-6 with 90K original miles. It still wears its original paint and interior and runs on new BF Goodrich T/A Radials, on the original factory turbo wheels. It has the electric mirrored Astro Roof and trunk mounted luggage rack.There were only 2000 of these cars manufactured, PLUS, only 1 of 500 hundred of the NASCAR special dealer prepped optioned cars.The not so good: The bottom of the doors have the usual rust and it really needs the doorsreplaced. The motor has a CNC Champion port & polished intake manifold, along with a 62mm ported throttle body. All new TA-49 Garret turbo 60lbs injectors with the Turbo Tweak chip to match. Brand new ECM computer, hotwire kit & Walbro Fuel Pump, LT1 MAF and translator kit & RJC intake race plate. All brand new KYB Suspension and Eibach lowering springs. A CPP Performance Gear box for much better tighter handling, i'm sure there is more i'm leaving out. Air conditioning works perfect blows very cold. I tried to keep it as original as possible, so I found a company that makes the original AC Delco radio with an aux plug so you can plug in your iphone/device for music, this is a big plus. I have the set of Brand new wheel well trims from Highway stars that I haven't put on the car yet. The car is ready to enjoy, you don't have to do anything but drive. For sale is my 1987 Buick Grand National. 22,000 miles. Car is in great condition. I am the second owner of a family owned car, my brother was the first owner. I know the entire history of this car. I have all service and routine maintenance receipts. Car is stock, no upgrades, and is mostly original with exception of new tires, new heater core, cat back exhaust system, new headliner, new front and rear bumper fillers. Has after market alarm system. Car runs great and can be a daily driver. It is garage kept. The paint is original and in good condition, has a good shine for the age of car, there are a couple of small paint chips and few minor blemishes. weather stripping is in great shape. The driver door was scratched and repainted. Interior is in great shape. Undercarriage is in good shape. The undercarriage is protected by undercoating applied by 1st owner. Car is originally from New York. No rust. Car has been well maintained over the years. Power antenna cable broken, I do have a replacement on hand. The PowerMaster brake system is completely rebuilt. Cruise control not working, I have the VSS sensor included in the sale that will fix the cruise control.
