Up for auction is a 2011 BMW Z4 35is. This is the top-of-the-line 35is "S Drive" model. It's finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over Black Kansas leather hides. It's equipped with a 6 cylinder, turbocharged engine mated to a very smooth automatic transmission. As you would expect in a car of this caliber the transmission also has a manual shifting mode. This is utilized either through the shifter or through paddles on the steering wheel. The car is fully equipped with all the standard power options. The seats manually adjust a multitude of ways. The interior is in excellent condition and shows very, very little wear. It is a non smoker vehicle. The exterior is in very nice condition. It makes a great appearance as you will see from the photographs. I like folks to know about all the things I have noticed on the vehicle. There is a small, dime sized mark/ding on the front bumper cover. There has been a brush touch up on the deck lid. From the looks I would say it was professionally done. I didn't notice it until I was actually waxing the car myself. There was a small touch up right near the antenna. My guess....and it's only a guess....someone didn't take the antenna off before a car wash and something happened. There is a small area of touch up on the left front fender. The reality is....few other folks on eBay would mention this stuff. It's not a new car and they would chalk this up to normal wear and tear, normal reconditioning. They will tell you it has a clean car fax (which it does) and want you to be satisfied with that. The only way you see this stuff is if you're the guy waxing or polishing the car. But, it's there, and I want the buyer to know what I know before you spend you're hard earned money. I have a 100% feedback rating and want to keep it that way. The tires are in excellent condition all around. I'm driving the car daily and the mileage may go up a bit. I bought the car at an auto auction as my personal driver. I won't sell a car I won't drive myself. The previous dealer told me it was the end of the season and he was selling his convertibles/summer vehicles. When I bought it, it had some very expensive, very ugly (IMHO) aftermarket wheels installed. I replaced them with 4 freshly refurbished BMW factory upgrade "snowflake" wheels. Since they are fresh there is no curb rash and they look great. A little about me. I'm a small Texas dealer. I am a professional pilot by trade. I used to own and operate an Olds/Cadillac/GMC dealership in the 90s. Many of my old customers and airline colleagues were always bugging me to get them or help them find vehicles that I decided to get back in the business. If you fly into town (Dallas/Fort Worth) I can pick you up at DFW or Love field. I have the reserve set low....equivalent to dealer auction wholesale. As such, I won't disclose the reserve. This vehicle was purchased in Germany as part of a European delivery. It was driven just a few miles by the original owner. It quickly developed an abnormal noise and vibration. It was determined that a main bearing in the engine was defective. BMW bought back the car and put an entire new engine in. The car was shipped to the US and sold at auction. A company specializing in such vehicles bought it and trucked it to their Dallas office. I bought the car and had it trailered to my home. The car looks and drives flawlessly. It has almost all of the options available. Every system works. The convertible hardtop is a joy to operate. This may well be the only 2012 BMW Z4 with just over 2300 miles on it. For years I have been looking for a 1965 Corvette that has been completely restored mechanically. I found it and bought it. I do not have room for two sports cars at my home. That is the reason I am selling the BMW. It looks and drives as one brand spanking new. Depending on purchase details, I will consider paying transport fees for buyer.
