This is a very good example of German engineering. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being showroom quality, in my opinion its 8.5. 5-speed manual gear box, car runs and drives very well especially being that its a 30year old classic. Shiny paint in really nice condition, interior is in great condition. This car has BBS wheels in near mint condition although the front passanger wheel is missing the hub cap. Roof works. Check guage works, odometer recently stopped working but for the past 7 or so years the car has only been driven on weekends to BMW events, roughly about 500-1000 miles per year. This is truly one of my favorite BMWs ever built aside from the 3.0cs. I am not the orginal owner of this car. The owner I purchased it from is an engineer and a member of a BMW car club, (so we can be sure that the car has been babied). I was made aware that someone back into the left front side(fender), I never would have believed it bc it was obviously professionally repaired and the car drives amazing. All in all a very nice well kept automobile.
