Most of the questions I get have already been answered within the following description. This 528 is equipped with a 2.8 Liter 6 Cylinder Engine and automatic transmission. Odometer reads 134k Miles. THERE ARE MULTIPLE HIGH RESOLUTION PICS INCLUDED. PLEASE VIEW/STUDY EACH PICTURE CAREFULLY AS THEY ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE VEHICLE DESCRIPTION. ITEM DESCRIPTION: POWER TRAIN This vehicle starts first time and idles smoothly. The engine is in good condition with no defects noted. NOTE: This car will need transmission work. The transmission slips when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. Once the slip is detected the car goes into limp mode. I.e the transmission will drive only in 3rd gear. If the ignition is turned off and then on again, the limp mode is cleared until the next slip is detected. The car is drivable but should not be driven long distances as the transmission will drive only in 3rd after it slips. The CEL is on with code P0730 – Incorrect 3rd gear ratio. MILEAGE This car has 134k miles on the odometer. This is relatively low mileage for a 1998 car. EXTERIOR The body of the car is clean and above average. There 1 or 2 minor scratches on the right side of the car. The front and rear bumpers are scuffed. The paint is clean and free of major blemishes. Overall a relatively clean car for the year. Please keep in mind a few requirements and courtesies. Please intend to, and be ready & able to (financially and otherwise), complete the purchase of the vehicle within the timeframes set out herein. Participating without the intention to complete the transaction is unfair to me the seller and to other bidders who may want the vehicle. It also wastes a lot of time and money. I may obtain the registered information of users participating in my auctions, and may filter or cancel any bids at my discretion.2.2. End An Auction Early. "Buy it now" auctions may end at any time if the buy it now feature is exercised or a "best offer" is accepted. I seldom end my auctions early. However, I reserve the right to end any auction without notice at any time for any reason in my sole discretion. 3. Completing the Transaction3.1. Contact Me. If you are the winning bidder, congratulations! You must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements for the completion of the transaction. Many of my auctions end well after normal business hours, so sending me a message through eBay is generally the best way. 3.2. Pay a Deposit. You must also pay a $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction to secure the vehicle.3.3. Pay the Balance Due. You must pay the remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes – please see 3.5, below) within 3 days after the end of the auction. Failure to pay the remaining balance within the stipulated time will cancel the transaction and deposit paid is forfeited. 3.4. Payment Methods. I accept wire transfers, cashier's checks, and cash in person (under $10,000 only). I accept PayPal for the payment of deposits only. All funds must be in US dollars.3.5. Fees and Taxes.3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $100 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. No exceptions will be made.3.5.2. Sales Tax.3.5.2.1. Georgia Buyers. I am required to GA Title Ad Valorem Tax (TAVT) which is currently set at 6.5% of the fair market value of the car based on the year , make and model as determined by the GA DOR. You will be responsible for paying your state's sales tax directly. 3.5.3. Tag & Title.3.5.3.1. Georgia Buyers. I am required by law to handle your title work. Title work cannot be done in GA without payment of TAVT as specified above. Therefore, GA buyers will not be handed the title as was previously the practice. I will handle all the title work and the GA DMV will mail you a title in your name. You will be provided with a GA temporary registration valid for 30 days while the title work is being done.3.5.3.2. Out-of-State Buyers. I will provide you with the vehicle's title if available at the time of sale. Most vehicles I sell have the title ready at the time of sale. In some cases, the title may be in transit or not ready. You are however guaranteed a clean and clear title within 21days of the sale. You will be responsible for handling the tag and title work in your state.3.6. Exchange Documents and Signatures. There are, unfortunately, paperwork requirements for completing the transaction, which vary depending on whether you are from out-of-state or not. It is frequently less expensive to have a vehicle shipped to your location than it is to fly in and drive it back, and certainly more hassle-free. I can assist you in finding a shipper and can get very competitive shipping quotes. You pay the shipper directly and are responsible for delivery arrangements. I assume no responsibility for damage to the vehicle incurred after it leaves my premises. Most of the questions I get have already been answered within the following description. This 528 is equipped with a 2.8 Liter 6 Cylinder Engine and 5 Speed manual transmission. Odometer reads 146k Miles. THERE ARE MULTIPLE HIGH RESOLUTION PICS INCLUDED. PLEASE VIEW/STUDY EACH PICTURE CAREFULLY AS THEY ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE VEHICLE DESCRIPTION. ITEM DESCRIPTION: POWER TRAIN This vehicle starts first time and idles smoothly. It runs and drives well. The transmission engages smoothly also and accelerates strongly in all gears up to the red line.. It has been road tested in city traffic and at highway speeds up to 100 mph. This car has NOT been inspected by a qualified mechanic and may therefore have defects that were not evident during the road test. There are NO warning lights or check engine. NOTE: This airbag light is on. MILEAGE This car has 146k miles on the odometer. This is relatively low mileage for a 1997 car. EXTERIOR The body of the car is clean and above average. There 1 or 2 minor scratches on the front right fender. The right front door may have been worked on or replaced. It leaks water when running the car through the car wash. The paint is clean and free of major blemishes. The rear bumper has some paint peel and small dings. There is a small rust patch on the driver’s side rear door under the window. Overall a relatively clean car for the year. Please look at the pictures in detail . INTERIOR The interior of the car shows only slight wear and tear. Please look at all the pictures for more detail. The car has been cleaned but not detailed so do not expect a showroom ready car. TIRES , BRAKES & SUSPENSION This car has 4 average Michelin tires. The brakes work well but have not been inspected for wear. The driver’s side front shock absorber/strut is worn. I noticed some bounciness/clunking from this strut. The car has a brand new Michelin full size spare.
