I bought this BMW 318ic convertible from a BMW mechanic located in California in 2008 with 113,000 miles on it. It was in California for most of its existence, until I bought it. I have replaced the front crank seal, timing chain, water pump, tie rod end, swapped out the rear differential to a LSD 3.73 and reupholstered the interior seats in new black leather on the Recaro seats, New tires have 4000 miles on them which I mounted on basket weave wheels. I have 4 new wheel hubs that are not in the photographs. There is a 1" dent in the front passanger side front fender by the head light where someone backed in to me. There are also some small dings where the car has been bumped. I have bought a new German canvas convertible top to replace the one that is on the car and it comes with the car as well as the Hardtop. The canvas top on the car looks good but has started to leak and needs to be replaced. When I purchased it it had new Blistein shocks and springs, new rack and pinion steering rack, radiator, all hoses and many other items that had been replaced. I have a stack of receipts for part that the previous owner installed. The car runs great and has no running issues, does not smoke nor does it have any leaks. This is a 3 day sale for this car with hardtop and the uninstalled convertible top. If it does not sell, I will drive it to Maine and store it and keep it there for summer driving, at the end of this week. It is sold as is and please ask any questions before buying. I have include close up photos of the cars defects. There is a warning light that comes on when the car is on a slow idle and it indicates the second lamda is not happy and It has not shown up since I increased the idle to 1000 rpms.
