1987 BMW E30 Alpina C2 2.5 43 Professional Photos Can Be Viewed On Our Website! Up for sale is this very rare 1987 E30 BMW Alpina C2 2.5. This Alpina is a JDM car that was imported to the US a couple years ago. 1 of only 74 cars made, this is car number 36. It is fitted with an automatic transmission, as many were, but fortunately a 5-speed swap is incredibly easy on this E30's. This car has a number of upgrades done by a previous owner including the leather wrapped dash with Alpina color stitching, e-code headlights with HID kit, and a few other Alpina touches. This C2 runs and drives very well, and has been well maintained although there isn't much paperwork that came with the car when it was brought over. The stickers for the timing belt services are are the passenger front strut tower which is nice. The current owner is a local collector and is thinning out his garage (Be sure to keep an eye out for his 89' Alpina B10 3.5) There are a few items that aren't currently working on the car. They include the gas gauge, temp gauge, and the sound system. The radio power open, but won't pick up a station. The following DO work as they should...power windows, sunroof, AC, tach, speedometer, odometer, all exterior lights, wipers, etc. Extremely clean car with no signs of any accident damage in it's past. Engine has an abundance of power in any gear and the Active-Hybrid is more powerful than a regular 335i (335hp vs 300hp), silky-smooth acceleration with an 8-speed automatic transmission with steptronic shifting (if you want to use it). It will do 0-60 in 5 seconds according to the reviews. All this performance while getting 33 mpg on the highway, which gives you the best-of-both-worlds of power and gas mileage at this price range! CONDITION:This car is a beautiful White, 4-door sedan with chrome kidney grill and dual exhaust - a beauty just to look at! In pristine condition with Dakota leather and wood trim and accents. It drives like a dream, with only 49k miles - practically new for German engineering, and very well maintained and garage-kept. I have babied it with BMW fully-synthetic oil and maintained meticulously under the BMW warranty and zero-maintenance plan at the BMW dealership (which it still has). The tires are factory-specified Pirelli P7 225/45R18 Run-Flat tires - with about 50% tread. Had the brake service done at BMW of Nashville where they replaced the brake pads and rotors (brand new) about a couple of months ago. I have a clean Car Fax from when I bought the car, and never had so much as a dent put on it since I've owned it. Each rear window comes with retractable shades and the rear winshield comes with a power rear sunshade. This car is very dependable and reliable - there is nothing that you will need to do in terms of repairs or maintenance - it's perfect! You are more than welcome to have it checked thoroughly by your mechanic too of course. But note that it is still under bumper-to-bumper factory warranty.
