FS: (Phila Area) 08 BMW 135i Convertible For Sale to a good home, a very nice 2008 BMW 135i Convertible Automatic. Metallic Cashmere Silver with Taupe Top and Boston Leather My wife has had the pleasure of driving this excellent vehicle 21K trouble free miles in the past 2 years. Once in a while she let her husband drive… During that time we have “spared no expense” to maintain the car. We are supremely confident in the condition and reliability of this 135i, you can pick it up on the East Coast (New Hope, PA 18938) and drive it right to the Pacific ocean doing nothing more than adding gasoline. Drop the top and motor in style. The vital statistics are: 2008 135i Convertible with Premium Package & More 6 Steptronic Automatic Transmission Dealer Serviced, All Service Records, BMW Prepaid Maintenance Package recently expired 78K Miles Current PA Inspection, 2 Keys Factory Options: Premium Package Xenon Intelligent Headlights Automatic Climate Control Rain Sensor and Auto Headlight Adaptive Light Control Hi-Fi Sound System (Includes HD Radio) Auto Dimming Mirrors (all three) with Compass Power Driver and Passenger Seats Drivers Memory Seat and Mirrors Homelink Garage Door Opener Electrically Folding Rearview Mirrors Bluetooth and BMW Assist Steptronic Automatic Trans with Sport Mode Taupe Soft Top Heated Front Seats Taupe Boston Leather Light Burl Walnut Trim Through-loading System (Ski Bag) Sirius Satellite Radio iPod and USB Adapter Additional Pictures Photo album with 60+ images available online here https://picasaweb.google.com/117515236195271731586/2008BMW135ic Service Records The car includes all service records since new. The previous owners and we used BMW dealer service as the car was covered by a pre-paid maintenance plan until July 2014. Since then only oil & filter changes have been required and these have been performed with factory parts. The last oil & filter change was done at 76,200 miles in May of 2015. Mechanical Condition Brake Pads were replaced when we purchased the car and still measure as almost new. Run Flat Tires all passed inspection last month, but the rear tires will need to be replaced before the next annual inspection, or before winter if you plan to take your convertible out in the snow (we never did). Body Condition When we purchased the car, it had a large ding in the center of the hood (made by some angry person with a hammer it appeared) as well as some chipped paint on the front bumper cover. The dealership fixed and painted these to a very high standard. Other than we are not aware of any paintwork on the car. The hood now has some stone chips and a small scratch (hard to see). The rear bumper cover has a parallel parking mark about 1.5 inches in length (hard to see). The tip of the passenger side mirror has some scrapes on it. The wheels have some curb rash and brake dust. Otherwise, the overall condition and paint is very nice! We are trying to be picky here and disclose anything that might be less than excellent. The car presents very well and looks excellent. Interior Condition Every feature and function is behaving as it should. Carpet is in very nice condition, and seats look great with very little to no wear. There are some shoe marks on the sides of the outer seat consoles where the remote controls are. The center console cup holders are starting to show the famous BMW rubber coating peeling a small amount on the very bottom– hard to see. Trying to be picky with our description - you will not be disappointed! Folding Top Condition Top has no rips or tears, nor any significant stains. I recently reapplied the waterproofing coating. Top operates perfectly, see the video in the online photo album. CarFax Accident? We purchased this car in 2013 from Doylestown BMW as a Certified Pre-Owned BMW. At that time the Carfax noted an accident from 2010. We looked the car over carefully and neither the dealer, their bodyshop nor we buyers could see where there was an accident damage that had been repaired. We don’t know if this is a CarFax mistake or if the accident was so minor as to be undetectable (like a replaced bumper cover). The car is available for detailed inspection at any time. Warranty The BMW CPO Warranty and Pre-Paid Maintenance Plan have expired. However, the High Pressure Fuel Pump and Turbocharger Wastegates are still covered under two BMW extended warranties: BMW extended the emissions warranty coverage period to 10 years or 120,000 miles, whichever comes first, in all 50 States. If the HPFP fails during the extended warranty coverage period, BMW will replace it with a newer-production version. BMW extended the Wastegate warranty to 8 Years/82,000 Miles.
