I feel bad selling an otherwise great car, but 2x-a-day pickup and dropoff of my son + my wife not confident driving a stick led me to ordering a Golf R. It arrives next month, but I figure I'd put my 1-series it on the market now if someone is interested. It's very much "enthusiast" optioned so all the good stuff (Sport package, Leather Seats, HIDs) without the excess weight (sunroof, power seats, huge stereo). Optional PackagesConvenience Package (Includes: Anti-Theft Alarm System And Comfort Access Keyless Entry And Park Distance Control (Rear Only) And Xenon Headlights)Sport Package (Includes: Sports driver seat and Front passenger seat: Power-adjusted side bolsters; Shadowline exterior trim; Increased top speed limiter; 7.0 alloy wheels 17, 7.5 alloy wheels 17; Wheels; Front summer 205 / 50 run-flat tires, rear summer 225 / 45 tires; Sport suspension)Value Package (Leather interior and iPod and USB Adapter w/ cable) MaintenanceAll done @ the dealer until warranty is up. Since then:Regular Mobil 1 oil changes (Most recent last week)Quality filters (WIX oil, cabin and air filters replaced this year)Rear brakes replaced last week w/ EBC Red pads, Centric rotors and new sensor.OEM Battery replacement done September 2014 so it's fresh. General Condition and Notes Car is and always has been 100% stock. The accident reported on Autocheck was literally nothing. Driver tapped my rear bumper, I took down their insurance info and took the car in to make sure the Park Distance wasn't broken, etc. and the body shop just cleaned up the bumper and billed their insurance.Total of 3 track days at Thunderhill without issue (5s slower per lap than my previous S2K). Other than that, has always just been my daily driver and returning a consistent 24MPG on my mixed 30mi. commute to San Francisco.Always garaged at home and workWheels look excellent, I only found one small instance of curb rash (see photo).Paint and body are of course not 100% perfect, but condition is at minimum "very good" for the mileage. Very minor dings/surface scratches. I used to 100% hand wash, but since drought and neighbor shaming have taken it to a brushless car wash.Non-smoker, nothing more than bottled drinks in the car / no eating in it, etc. Interior is VERY clean. Minimal wear on driver's seat bolster (see photo album).Carpeted floor mats are 100% new; I used the OEM rubber mats the whole time.Even though it was purchased in CA it has the non-CA emissions engine. (Higher compression)IssuesJust 1 key, lost the other in a moveAccording to maintenance indicator, front brakes have 8k left on them. However, I'm including a set of EBC Red pads + rotors so you're set with parts.Front tires more than fine but rear tires should be replaced. Matching Sumitomo HTR-Z's are less than $200 from Tirerack. Happy to show it locally any-time or discuss offline with those outside of California. I've sold and shipped private party in the past so no issues working with your trucking company. Price Firm - I did a scan of Mannheim, current inventory on Autotrader, etc.and for now feel it's priced reasonably. I have a 15+ year / 100% rating on here and have sold two cars in the past via EBay w/o issue.
