1965 Austin Healey Sprite convertible survivor. Very low mileage at 83,100, on a 49 year old garage kept, historic vehicle. British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate has been ordered for this Sprite. It is the AN8, Mark III. This is the first year with the roll up windows and external door handles. I purchased this car from a private collection in Colorado. It had been in this family collection for over 25 years. It is the1.1L, 1098 CC, 67 Cu. In. Gas OHV Naturally Aspirated engine. Engine number is 10-CG-DA-H12278 Cream white with red interior. Maintained as a collector car. Excellent body condition and runs very well. Just over 84k miles. Serviced through British Car mechanics with recent new tires, brakes, tune up, rear axle seals, steering rack boots, fuel pump. Drives flawlessly, accelerates and transitions gears well (1st gear not synchronized), handles well even at 65 mph with no steering issues. I also have a couple of boxes of parts that I will include with the sale of this car. Car is currently titled and registered in Arizona and is displaying Historic Vehicle Tags. Hagerty values these sprites between $7,800 and $16,800. I am only asking $12,200 for this little gem. This car has not been restored and is a survivor. As such, there are a few flaws in the paint and the interior, but as you can see from the pictures, the car displays extremely well. Open to interesting offers or trades.

The Sprite has been named the Frogeye in the UK, and the Bugeye in the US because of its distinctive headlights that are prominently mounted on top of the bonnet and face skyward. Production years for the Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite were from 1958-1961.This 1959 Bugeye Sprite has been in the same family since 1969. It has had a complete professional restoration and all mechanicals are updated and fresh. This car has always been garaged and is never driven in inclement weather.Exterior is Leaf Green and the paint is excellent. Body is straight and solid. The roadster top is black.Interior is black and all components are excellent. The dash is pristine. Oil pressure gauge is new. Carpet is new and super clean.Engine is the original 4 cylinder with manual transmission. The transmission has had a total rebuild and shifts smoothly and is tight. This car performs very well on the road. The test drive was impressive!The current owner and only owner since 1969 has meticulously taken care of this car.
