The Sprite has been named the Frogeye in the UK, and the Bugeye in the US because of its distinctive headlights that are prominently mounted on top of the bonnet and face skyward. Production years for the Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite were from 1958-1961.This 1959 Bugeye Sprite has been in the same family since 1969. It has had a complete professional restoration and all mechanicals are updated and fresh. This car has always been garaged and is never driven in inclement weather.Exterior is Leaf Green and the paint is excellent. Body is straight and solid. The roadster top is black.Interior is black and all components are excellent. The dash is pristine. Oil pressure gauge is new.
