I am selling my 2002 Audi TT. It is in excellent condition, it does have some scratches here and there on the paint but considering the age that is to be expected. The inside is very clean and runs very well. It is up to date on all maintenance. It has roughly over 81,000 miles on it so incredibly low considering the age. It does have a back seat but I do have the seats folded down as you can tell in the picture. I also apologize about the car being messy, when sold I will make sure the car is fully cleaned before the new owner receives it. 2002 Audi TT 225 Quattro American LeMans Series Commemorative Edition One of only 500 produced. We are pleased to present this absolutely amazing 2002 Audi TT 225 Quattro American LeMans Series Commemorative Edition for your consideration. Yes, that's a model name that's nothing short of a mouth full, and there's good reason. The TT ALMS (as it's abbreviated), is an extremely special car with just 500 examples being produced in each of two color combinations. The TT ALMS was produced to celebrate Audi's crushing victory overall of the American LeMans Racing Series. They started with a top of the line TT 225 with every option. Then they added exclusive exterior and interior colors -- Avus Silver Pearl over Red Nappa Leather in this case -- exclusive hyper silver 18" light alloy wheels, high intensity discharge xenon headlamps, and special color coordinated steering wheel and knee pads. We've provided a scan of the original ALMS brochure below for reference. The 1.8 Liter Turbocharged 4 Cylinder engine combined with Audi's 6 Speed Manual transmission and Haldex all wheel drive is a completely bulletproof combination. With just regular maintenance, these cars will run forever and ever. On top of its normal features, the car has also had thousands of dollars spent on top end performance upgrades by its previous owner. I'll get into that more specifically in the paragraphs below. The interior of this TT is in beautiful condition. In fact, overall, its absolutely spectacular. The interior is trimmed in black with a black dash, console, carpet and headliner. I personally love cars with black headliners because it's almost like you're in a cave while driving it. It's very cozy and it puts all of your attention on the road. Very sporty. The seats, door panel inserts, knee rests, and steering wheel are in the ALMS exclusive red color. Only 500 TTs were made with this interior it's striking to say the least. The nappa leather seats are still very soft, and feel great. They're also heated for your comfort. The nappa leather wears like iron compared to standard leather. Everything in the interior works. The car has the bose stereo system that includes a CD player in the dash. It's easy to use, and sounds absolutely awesome. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. The cigarette lighter hasn't been used, nor has the ash tray. This TT has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags. Because it has the climate package, it does have heated front seats, as well as heated exterior mirrors, heated windshield washer nozzles, and heated door lock cylinders. The rear seats do fold flat for hauling large cargo. It's amazing how huge the cargo area is with the seats folded flat. It's almost like a station wagon! The rear seats are recommended to be used for children only, so please keep that in mind. There isn't really enough space back there for a full-grown human. Even the carpet in the trunk is incredible, and it has the OEM trunk mat with the TT logo. The car has striking brushed aluminum trim including a beautiful aluminum door with the TT logo that closes in front of the audio system. The car also has Audi's famous rubber "Monster Mat" floor mats with the TT logo embossed in them. They're the best floor mats on the market and are great in all seasons. They can easily be hosed off to clean them. The exterior of this TT is in exceptionally nice condition, and is Avus Silver Pearl in color. This color is exclusive to the 2002 TT ALMS and the 2003 S8 Exclusive. These are the only Audis sold in North America available in this striking color. Avus silver is a medium to light silver with a hint of blue in it. It's gorgeous and it shares its name with the 1992 Audi Avus Quattro concept car which had a lot of styling that led to the design language used by Audi in the 2000s, especially the TT! The outside of the car is actually quite free of dings and scratches. The paint is absolutely gorgeous except for some light haze at the top of the passenger door. It's hard to see, and was impossible to get it to show up in photos. There is also some imperfection on the 1 inch wide strips that run the length of the roof where the optional roof rack would mount. I have taken a close up picture of this. Again, it's very minor. It has the original hyper silver ALMS 18" light cast aluminum alloy wheels. This was the first use of 18 inch wheels on the TT, and the hyper silver color was exclusive to the ALMS. We installed absolutely brand new wheels on the car to prepare it for sale. As such, they're flawless. Now, let's talk about the performance upgrades which have been installed on this car. First and foremost, it has a tune of some sort. Unfortunately, there are no markings to determine what tune it is, however I believe it is a GIAC tune based upon the specs. The car makes 25 pounds of boost under WOT which would indicate that it also has an upgraded fuel pump, injectors, and some other ancilary parts. It has a silicone inlet hose on the turbo, as well as a Neuspeed intake. It also has coilovers. The front is adjustable, and as with most audis, the rear is not. In the photos, the front is adjusted about as low as it'll go. Even though the rear is not adjustable, it has matching lowering springs and performance shocks. There is also an AWE Tuning boost gauge in a vent gauge pod to monitor boost. None of these upgrades seem to be affecting any of the cars systems. The check engine light is not on and all readiness codes are set. The car is insanely fast. We've sold a lot of European cars, including some that are borderline exotic, and I would say that this comes pretty close to being the fastest car we've ever offered for sale. It is extremely well-sorted and the power comes on flawlessly with no hesitation. The car also has a performance clutch of some sort. It appears to be a stage 2 southbend disc clutch, but it's hard to tell without removing the transmission. It's very snappy but not hard to drive. There is also a B&M short throw shifter in place. Since this started as a 225 model, it has the K04 turbocharger which is the largest factory turbocharger offered on the 1.8 liter engine. The tires are all in good shape.The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary 1.8 Liter Turbocharged 4 cylinder engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. See the above paragraph for details about the engine and performance. These engines are an incredible combination of power and efficiency. These cars can easily get over 30mpg with conservative driving. This is a perfect time to note that this car requires premium fuel, especially because of its tune. It simply cannot be run on regular. The transmission shifts through all 6 gears and reverse properly, and the clutch is excellent. The timing belt service was completed 2000 miles ago. All of the car's accessories work including the power windows. As long as the oil is changed, and basic maintenance is performed, these cars rarely have major mechanical problems. This car includes a 3 Month 4500 Mile powertrain warranty at no additional charge. The warranty can be used at any repair shop in the United States, no matter where you live. This warranty covers the engine, transmission, and drivetrain. This is in place in order to provide peace of mind when purchasing a car via the internet.
