1971 AMC Matador Station Wagon, Nice 258 AMC Jeep Engine, straight 6 in good condition Have clear title, this was a running and driving car when parked in 1986, underbody is in fair to poor condition was a northern rust-belt car. Transmission was updated a few years before the jeep motor went in. Engine turns over, marvel mystery oil put down cylinders years ago. Only part I see missing is the “starter switch-relay” mounted on the top fender well. This is a sleeper car, the updated engine installed was from a Jeep a 258 cu-in with 50,000. miles and should be able to run again with little effort. Complete car sold as-is where parked. Car is in Seminole, Oklahoma for local Pick-up only. *** A good mechanic, or two...could decend on this car.... put 4 new E78-14 tires..."195-70-14" today's specification tires, spend a day or two going through all the fluids and brakes, put insurance on it, temp registration and drive it back home....I was tempted to do that myself.....if anyone else, has this plan....I could throw in 3 new tires 195-70-14 tires i have in my shed. I'm currently in dallas texas.***

For sale in our Detroit showroom is a 1970 AMC AMX. The AMX is a two-seat GT-style sports car that was produced by American Motors Corporation from 1968 to 1970. The AMX was also classified as a muscle car, but differed from other American cars at the time because of its short wheelbase. The name AMX is actually an acronym for American Motors eXperimental, which was a code assigned to concept vehicles in the mid-sixties. The AMX was also the only American-built steel-bodied two-seater of its time, the first since the 1955-1957 Ford Thunderbird , and rivaled the only other two-seat American muscle car: the Chevrolet Corvette. With a short three-year production run, the AMX was discontinued in 1970, and was replaced by the Javelin from %26acirc;??71-%26acirc;??74. This wild AMX makes quite the statement with the Ranger Splash Purple covering the cool and vintage bodylines. Under the hood is a 360 V8 that has been bored out to a 390, and with the sides pipes, produces a loud rumble that will turn some heads every time the pedal hits the floor. Since 3 pedals make a classic a blast to cruise around in, this AMC has an M-22 Muncie 4-speed. To keep with the pro-street theme, the car has been backhalfed and tubbed to fit the huge 33X21.50-15LT Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires, and the rear end is a Ford 9-inch with a 5.13 gears. The interior has been worked on as well, and features a 10-point rollcage, and no back seat to make room for the rear tires. The dash features Autometer gauges to monitor engine functions, and the seats also have Simpson racing harnesses to firmly hold you in place during hard launches. Options on the car include: aluminum/alloy wheels. If you want a wild and powerful muscle car with unforgettable looks and plenty of ponies under the hood, the call today to put it in your garage! Located in our Detroit showroom, this 1970 AMX can be viewed in greater detail, including HD photos and video, at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (313)-982-3100 for more information. 67 AMC Ambassador DPL OEM V8 343 Carter 4-Barrel Carb, Posi rear-end 53k Original milesThis Ambassador is for the most part all original…though it has newer exhaust and tune up parts replaced. The rockers are rusty and there is some rust on the body. See photos. Everything in this car is original including the radio. Not only is everything OEM but it all works as it should. The car was driven all summer as a nice weather daily driver. At the end of the summer I bought this car from my friend as he needed a winter car and I had some money available and I have an eBay account with PayPal and he does not. I bought it from him with the intention of selling it for him. Obviously winter is approaching and now is a bad time to sell a car like this but I figured I’d throw it out there and see if anyone is interested. If I sit on it until Spring I will be asking more and won’t be as flexible on the price. I do not NEED to sell it as I have storage room available. The car runs and drives great. The only negative is rust. The interior is very nice and complete. The engine is unmolested and runs fine. The car does not drip or burn oil. I have not had time to wash/wax the car so it is being listed looking kind of dirty. I also have not vacuumed the interior and there are some pebbles and the usual dirt on the floor. The interior is very nice and the carpet is nice as well. Come take a look, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I would trust driving this car back home to anywhere in the US. Newer belts, hoses, and exhaust. Recent rear shocks and springs. 2 new tires. Bucket seats. Console. Working AM radio with reverb. Newer ignition coil. Newer water pump. Brakes are good. Car does not pull and tracks nice. Newer alternator. Recent tune up. Basically everything that was looking aged was replaced with the tune up this last spring. Brand new battery. Negatives Rust as seen in photos and under rockers Needs AC compressor

1971 AMC Ambassador 360 Brougham 77K miles, V-8, Automatic, AC, PS, PB. NO SMOG TEST NEEDED!!! This cruiser is beautiful inside and out, interior is like new with exception of driver's interior pull handle, exterior is in excellent condition, engine purrs. All original paint and factory installed accessories. AC blows cold. Radio, lights, horn, signals, etc all work, all original. Starts and runs excellent. Shifts smoothly. Steering nice and tight. Exhaust sounds like tuned pipes. Needs nothing, ready to drive to work or cross country. I bought this California beauty from original owner's estate a few weeks ago. He had it since new back in 1971. Registration good till August 2015. Clear title in hand. $5400 or make me a reasonable offer. Please scroll down for more photos. CONDITION: I bought this beauty from the original owner's estate a few weeks ago. He had it since new back in 1971. Appears to be all original, inside and out. Paint is in amazing condition. Right rear door jammed shut, I didn't want to risk damaging it, leaving for new owner. The vinyl on the interior of the driver's door pull handle is coming loose, doesn't appear to be torn, looks like in can be reglued, again, leaving for new owner. Very very little rust. Engine starts right up and transmission shifts smoothly. The trim ends are loose on a couple pieces. Really in excellent overall condition, amazing considering it's age. All the dash controls work, even the cigarette lighter. Clock doesn't work, maybe a fuse? AC blows cold. Factory installed AM radio works. Tires are at about 75%. New battery, starter, oil pressure sending unit. Fresh oil and filter. Ready to drive home. Clean pink slip in hand.

Complete Restoration!Arizona Car!Pristine Paint!AMC 290ci V8!3-Speed Automatic!Lots of Original Literature!Same Owner for the Past 9 Years! The AMC Javelin is a pony car that was built by the American Motors Corporation between 1967 and 1974 in two generations; model years 1968-1970 (with a separate design in 1970) and 1971-1974. The sporty Javelins came only as two-door hardtop (with no \"B\" pillar) body style, and were available in economical versions or as high-performance muscle cars.MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer another handsome, 1st generation 1968 AMC Javelin SST. This particular Javelin has gone through an extensive restoration and has a binder full of photos documenting the restoration from start to finish! The car was the recipient of a high quality, professional paint job, finished in the correct color of Rally Green Metallic and we are hard pressed to find imperfections! The paint is accented by two center white stripes that were professionally painted on and look fantastic. The chrome on the car appears to be new and shines bright. Overall, this may be one of the best restored AMC Javelin SST\'s we\'ve seen!Inside, you will find that the interior has been taken care of throughout the years. The seats are finished in the correct tan vinyl with a matching dashboard, functioning gauges and lights. The seats show very minimal, if any wear at all. There are minor imperfections to the top of the dash and on the door handles. There is also an AM/FM radio installed in the dash. It\'s very obvious this Javelin was loved and you can be the next one to love it even more!Under the hood of this green beauty, you can find the 290ci, AMC V8 engine with a two barrel carburetor. Attached to the V8 is a 3-speed automatic transmission with a floor shifter. The engine compartment is very clean and tidy. The car you\'re seeing here has power steering, air conditioning and power front disc brakes. This Javelin has 14\" chrome American Motors wheels wrapped in 6.95-14 4-ply red stripe tires all the way around, which really compliment the paint and set off the entire car\'s sporty look. The tires are in decent shape with no dry rot to be seen.Included with the purchase of this Javelin is the original 1968 AMX/Javelin Owner\'s Manual, 1968 AMC Optional Equipment %26amp; Accessories catalog, 1968 catalog of all vehicles offered by AMC and a Javelin Photo Archive book. There is also a binder full of restoration photos, Arizona registration, some receipts and AMC Javelin information. The VIN number is A8C797M247385 and the current mileage shows 89,781.
