1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce Spyder According to the factory Alfa Romeo documentation files, Chassis number AR 390529 originally corresponds to Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider Veloce (101.18), Engine series AR 00121, Manufactured on the 12th April 1965 Sold on the 20th April 1965 to Alfa Romeo Inc. USA, Newark. The body colour is red with black interior. It is a really nice original car for restoration. These Veloce's are a joy to drive. Note: we have all the hubcaps. Correct Veloce carburetors, intake and air cleaner. The engine turns. I have not tried to start it, but it is free. Note: My finger is holding the chrome eyebrow in place. The corners of the trunk floor have rust. Chassis number. The AR39 prefix indicates a factory built Veloce Spyder. Correct engine number. 1964 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spyder. One owner from new. A lovely car to drive. Sporting, comfortable. Smooth. A similar car was used in the 1963 Movie "Le Mepris" staring Bridgette Bardot. I wonder if it helped sales? The photos don't show it well, but the paint has pimples over much of the car. Interior is original and nice. At some point the car will need a repaint.
