I bought this car as a nice project - something fun to do at night, and then something fun to drive (my old job had me travelling a lot). It has been a great car - lots of fun to drive!! It accelerates very quickly, corners wonderfully, and is a delight to drive. I will miss it terribly, but have to let it go to make room in my garage. It has a clean carfax report that I can send to you. I purchased the car in 2015 and have only put a little less than 3,000 miles on it. I wanted to keep the car and drive it, but a recent job change means that I work from home (and don't need 2 cars). The good: It was just inspected - everything looks good; it passedBrakes have plenty of life left on them, no rotor warpage, tires have lots of life leftAll of the known and common Honda problems have already been taken care of (Windshield wiper motor, Pedal position sensor, buckle assembly, and navigation system) - you're getting a car that has had all of this headache taken care of. The manual transmission does not slip, and feels extremely good. It starts gripping almost immediately after the pedal is off the floor, and is very linear (most clutch pedals have dead zones and engage in a very short pedal distance). There is not a mechanical thing wrong with this car - it is ready to goThe car has never been in an accident - the carfax is clean (I can send the carfax report or you can look it up yourself). It comes with 2 remotes - they're both workingIt is clean inside and out - recently waxed and detailed AC blows cold and doesn't leakAdd-on Parrot Bluetooth system - much better than the stock Bluetooth solution. Has a subwoofer hook-up in the trunk - cables are already run (I never verified this hook-up - fuse has been pulled). The bad: Somebody scuffed up the wheels (not the tires).There a small dent in the back of the car on the trunk lidSome clear-coat is coming off on the driver's side by the back door - it is minor and can be easily fixed - see picturesThere is very very minor belt noise from the serpentine belt (verified by taking it off, verified by 2 mechanics as well)The integrated bluetooth has been disabled - there was an add-on system (Parrot) that works much better, has a screen, and allows you to stream music to the car. You are bidding on an awesome 2006 Acura TL 6-Speed with roughly 106,000 miles on it.This is a one owner car, has been exceptionally well maintained, always garage kept and comes with all maintenance records since new, the 3 original keys and two key-fobs, it’s original window sticker, owner’s manual etc. all as shown in the photos. The car is accident free and has all original paint. The owner loves the car but decided to change to a four-wheel drive SUV to better cope with the Pennsylvania winter conditions in the snow belt and a long, rural drive-way that is often not plowed.This is the predecessor to the TL-Type S. It has a six speed manual transmission, the desirable and ultra-reliable and ultra-smooth 258hp 3.2 liter 24 Valve VTEC V6 engine, limited slip differential, 4-wheel disk brakes with huge factory 4 piston-caliper front brakes, Bluetooth with factory hands free interface, Power Moon-roof, Xenon HID headlights, it’s original ELS 8 speaker Sound system with DVD-A, 6 CD/Cassette stereo system, cruise control, leather, heated power seats and of course power windows and locks etc.It comes with two sets of wheels. It’s Michelin tires on its original wheels are mostly worn and will need replaced soon. A second set of wheels comes with the car with almost new Michelin X-Ice winter tires that were purchased last winter and all have 7/32 or more thread remaining. The second set of wheels does not feature tire pressure sensors. If desired, we can gladly mount the Michelin winter tires onto the original wheels with tire pressure sensors.The car has been a very reliable car since new and has been owned by an older gentleman, it has never been abused and has been well taken care off with very regular oil changes with premium oils throughout its life. The car has a current PA inspection valid until 6 of 2017.The car has been fully serviced and we at Thoroughbred Motorsports LLC in Corry, PA just performed the full 105,000 mile service including: new timing belt and rollers, new water pump, new thermostat, new spark plugs, new serpentine belt plus some marginal suspension bushings have been replaced, as well as oil and filter changed, of course with fully synthetic oil. Some say the timing belt service is not due until 120,000 miles, and they are correct. In some service bulletins it recommends to do the full timing belt service at 105,000 miles, so we did. However, everything we took out still looked fantastic and would have easily lasted another 20,000 miles, but of course for peace of mind we replaced everything so the car is ready to go for the next 100,000 miles.The interior is in excellent condition, all seats are without any tears, no cracks in the dash, the heated sport-seats have typical leather patina with the grain structure showing in some areas and all seams and stitching in tact.The car has been extremely reliable and though the 106,000 miles it has only had a couple of minor problems throughout its life: It had developed a starting problem and a main module plus the starter were replaced by the local Acura dealer, as well as the battery was replaced. Also the rear brakes, rear emergency brakes and cables have been changed due to stickiness. All repair receipts come with the car as shown. The car has been extremely reliable and problem free throughout the first 10 years of its life and it is a truly fantastic car.As the photos show the car looks fantastic. It has some patina, such as some very small scratches and nicks, one very small crease right behind one of the rear wheels as all shown in the photos. It has one very small stone chip in the front windshield, barely noticeable. The driver’s side rear view mirror shows some edge discoloring as shown in one of the photos. Overall, a very presentable, very well maintained car. For sale by original owner, only 78,800 miles. Smoke-free car. Strong running car in very good mechanical condition overall. Has been babied from day one by my wife, who drove it brand new off the lot, until today. It is newly inspected and has never given us any problems at all. All maintenance done in timely manner by reputable local shop according to Acura recommended schedule. Good looking car with body and interior in very good condition overall. It isn't noticeable unless you look for it, but the bottom of the front bumper assembly, which sits very low to the ground on this model car, is scratched up from a high spot in our driveway entrance. Car has a handful of minor scratches around door handles, a very small ding or two on door panels, a small scrape on a corner of the rear bumper, and a scratched area near the front bottom corner of the front bumper. But overall the car looks good, the paint finish has been carefully maintained and remains in fine condition, and the car has no rust or other major problems. Interior of the car is in excellent condition. Car was involved in one minor accident maybe five years ago in which a delivery truck clipped the drivers door mirror, causing my wife to drive up onto a curb. Had mirror and one bent wheel replaced.

I quickly found a new 2014 Prius III on eBay at a great price. The only problem was, it was sitting in western Pennsylvania...about 5 hours from my home in northern NJ. I called Scott Long and asked him about the car, and about my 2005 Prius as a trade-in.
