I'm selling my 2006 RSX Type-S after driving and loving it for 4 years and 40,000 miles. It runs and drives great, and with only 83,134 original miles, its VTEC Honda engine easily has another 200,000 miles left in it with proper care. RSX's were always my favorite hatchback design, and 2006 was the last year they made them. Ever since I test drove one when they first came out when I was in college, I fell in love. I finally bought my dream "fast" car when I was much older, so as a result it has been driven very gently, which is ironic considering it's performance pedigree. I meant to keep it to the end of its life, but now that we're expecting our first child, a 6-speed hatchback just won't do. I purchased the vehicle as a rebuilt title resulting from a guardrail impact with front and rear end damage. There was no water damage and no frame or engine bay damage, and all repairs were completed before I took possession of the car. The only trace from the incident is that the airbag light is on in the dash. I am not sure if the airbags were deployed and replaced, so I cannot make a guarantee. The front and rear bumper has slight fitment imperfections from their installation, and there are a few small areas of paint cracking/chipping on the front bumper and one of the wheel wells, but the exterior is in good overall shape, with no rust, large dents or impact scratches. As stated, I have owned the RSX for 4 and a half years and put 40,000 miles on it with no mechanical issues beyond normal wear and regularly scheduled maintenance. ***Vehicle is being sold as-is, with no warranty or promises made beyond the above description and the buyer's assessment.
