Easy to Read Full Instrumentation ……. 2.9 Liter Inline 6-Cylinder Engine ………   Description: The S80 is Volvo’s flagship model.  Spacious and well powered, the vehicle is popular shares many service parts with other similar-year Volvo cars, making it affordable to own.  We learned of this vehicle being traded in and grabbed it.  This vehicle presents very well and appears to have been regularly serviced by the prior owner.   But, of course, you expect vehicles this nice from Grove Automotive Group, Inc.! Options: Finished in polar white and tan leather upholstery, this VERY CLEAN 2004 Volvo S80 features about everything that you expect in this Swedish sport sedan beginning with the smooth and responsive 2.9 L DOHC 6-cylinder teamed with a 4-speed automatic transaxle, driver, passenger, side and roof SRS (air bags), automatic climate control featuring a factory R134a refrigerant charge, 4-wheel ABS (anti-lock brakes), Volvo’s own SIPS (Side Impact Protection System), factory sunroof, power windows, central locking system, power mirrors, power seats, factory alloy wheels, factory sound system, 4-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, rear window defroster, folding rear seats, driver’s information center, service reminder system, factory security system, and much more!   Yet ANOTHER Clean Southern Ride!   This vehicle is riding on a very good set of Michelin® tires. Service and Inspection Report – Value Added: We brought this clean Volvo in for service and found that the prior owner had taken great care of the car.  It appears to have been regularly serviced and traded in about the time that you would normally do a major service on the vehicle. We stared by installing a NEW TIMING BELT, TENSIONER and IDLER PULLEY.  These are the major components of the timing belt system.  That’s done for you.  While doing timing belts, we replace spark plugs since it is a good time to freshen up everything on the engine.  We installed Denso® brand plugs so you won’t have to be concerned with that service, either. We changed the engine air filter and vacuumed the road debris that can accumulate in the air box. It appears that the prior owner had recently done an oil change and the oil looks clean. We also noted that the idler wheel on the serpentine belt was a bit noisy at startup (that’s the part that keeps the belt tensioned) so we replaced the idler wheel and bearing assembly. Moving along to the chassis, the front brakes were about half worn so we replaced front brake rotors and pads.  The rear brakes were about half worn too, so we replaced the rear pads. Moving along the outside of the vehicle, we installed new wiper blades, front and rear, and also on the headlight wipers. We finished up this vehicle be changing the cabin air filter.  It is a job that you want done every year and we’ve taken care of that for you. Shop around and then ADD IT UP!  Why buy one that needs work?  How much will that cost you in addition to the car itself?  The items that we serviced would easily cost you $1,800 if you did all of this after the sale.  You can always pay less.  Just click the “back” button and buy something else?  However, if you are looking for a better value, buy from Grove.  That’s the Grove Automotive Group, Inc. difference.
