ITS INCREDIBLY RELIABLE AS MOST VOLVOS ARE KNOWN TO BE;AND THIS VOLVO IS NO EXCEPTION. THIS CAR HAS BEEN OUR FAMILY CAR FOR A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AND HAS NOT GIVEN ME ANY PROBLEMS SINCE I'VE OWNED IT. I AM ONLY SELLING THE CAR BECAUSE OUR FAMILY IS GROWING AND WOULD LIKE TO BUY A BIGGER, NEWER VOLVO. THE CAR HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED WITH CURRENT SERVICE RECENTLY DONE INCLUDING FULL SYNTHETIC OIL CHANCE AND FILTER, SPARK PLUGS,...ALSO HAS A NEW BATTERY, NEW VOLVO GAS CAP(ALL SERVICE DONE AT A VOLVO SANTA MONICA). THERE IS HOWEVER A SMALL VACUUM LEAK THAT TRIGGERING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND BRINGING UP CODE P0442. IF BUYING IN CALIFORNIA, THIS CODE WILL NEED TO BE TAKEN OFF BEFORE HAVING THE CAR PASS SMOG AND RENEWING REGISTRATION IN JANUARY. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE CAR AND CAN BE EASILY FIXED. THERE ARE NO OIL LEAKS ON THE CAR AND DOES NOT OVERHEAT OR STUTTER. AC BLOWS COLD, HEATER WORKS ALSO AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH. CAR COMES WITH RECENT VEHICLE HISTORY, PINK SLIP, CURRENT REGISTRATION AND TAGS THAT EXPIRE JANUARY 20016. THE COLOR OF THE CAR IS SILVER WHICH IS THE ORIGINAL COLOR AND PAINT OF THE CAR AND HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. THE PAINT IS STILL VERY GOOD THROUGHOUT THE CAR AND STILL HOLDS SHINE. THE BODY IS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH SOME TINY DINGS AND SOME LIGHT SCRATHES ON THE HOOD(WHICH CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICS), BUT NOT MUCH ELSE. THE LEATHER INTERIOR IS A TAN COLOR AND IS IN GOOD SHAPE, BUT DOES SHOW CRACKING ON THE SEATS, WHICH ARE COVERED BY VOLVO SEAT COVERS. THERE ARE NO RIPS OR TEARS ON THE SEATS OR DASH. INTERIOR IS SMOKE FREE. THE TIRES ON IT ARE ALL MATCHING AND STILL HAVE ABOUT 70% THREAD.EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL WORKS;ALL WINDOWS,LOCKS AND SUNROOF WORK PERFECTLY. OVERALL, THE CAR IS IN GREAT RUNNING CONDITION AND AS I STATED BEFORE, HAS NEVER LEFT US STRANDED OR HESITATED TO START. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST VOLVOS OUT THERE. THEY SURE DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THIS ONE ANYMORE. 1998 Volvo S70 GLT white with tan leather interior and sunroof 235,000 miles on the body100,000 miles on the engine (engine was replaced 16,000 miles ago with a 1999 S70 turbo engine with 83,000 miles at the time of the swap.The good:- timing belt, serpentine belt, water pump, distributor, spark cables, spark plugs, radiator replaced less than 1000 miles ago- brake rotors and pads replaced less than 1000 miles ago- two brand new front CV half axles go with the car (ran out of time to replace them)- power everything and everything works, including the radio/cd player and the remote control- tow bar with wiring is fully functional- clean and clear title, passed smog last year, tags expired September 2016The bad:- engine coolant circuit has a leak: the car loses all the water immediately after reaching operating temperature. The motor runs but the car has to be towed. The oil doesn't look milky and there aren't exhaust fumes in the coolant, nor white smoke, so it may be just a leak in the coolant circuit, but it also may be a broken thermostat or, worst case, a shot head gasket. Car has to be towed!- tan leather interior in fair condition, front seats have rips- rear left door broken actuator - shocks holding up rear trunk lid are shot
