Our parents bought this car used approx. 10 yrs ago at the local Volvo dealer when the original owners traded it in. Dad saw it, described it as a cream puff, and had to have it. He bought it as a second backup car for Mom, who rarely drives. Its been kept in a garage, not seen winters and very occasionally used. It is still a cream puff! He is upset about the one scratch he put in the rear bumper with the lawnmower one day. Otherwise the body and paint are in amazing condition. As I waxed it for them, I found a few nicks and very light scratches, but you'll need to look hard for them. We've driven this car for a few weeks to make sure all is well. We took it into the shop to have it checked out and have it inspected. We had the oil and spark plugs changed. These Volvos had the warranty extended to 10 years if issues existed with the throttle body, but Dad never took it into the dealer. Our mechanic recommended the work, so we spent $750 to be sure the new owner did not experience any issues. I'm into classic cars, and have a lift at home, so I inspected the undercarriage and it's excellent. It was lightly undercoated when new and there are no rust issues on the floor, fuel, brake lines etc. Volvo designs their undercarriages to resist rust extremely well. We have a 2001 XC70 and its undercarriage is amazing, even though it used every year in our winters. Our XC70 has 150K miles on it, same motor and still running strong. When you see this car, you will think it is only a few years old, it looks like new. When you get into the interior, it will be like new. The leather seats are barely broken in. Dad kept the mats covered with the extra service mats from the Volvo dealer. It has an impressive list of power and convenience features. Volvo makes some of the best seats of any car, and these are heated too, with all the power adjustments. We've come to appreciate the Volvo seats in our XC70 for long trips. Tilt up the sunroof or slide it open to let the air and sun in. The car drives solid with its European suspension. And if you need some power, the 2.4 liter turbo has all the power you need. Take a look at S70s out there, and you will see their longevity and quality, as its routine to see these still working great for sale with 200K miles. This one is an AWD all wheel drive, an option that many S70s did not have. It also has a winter traction option it. You will be hard pressed to find a Volvo or any car of this caliber, in such nice condition with low miles for under $15,000. Based on our other Volvo and others out there, you can easily drive this car for another 10 years, in luxury and safety. If you have any questions, send us note and we can call you back. However, depending upon location I may be able to drive to your location or transport via an enclosed car trailer for $1.75 per loaded mile up to 250 miles from Rochester. Longer distance considered at higher cost due to hotel cost. Car must be fully paid for before I transport. Or just fly in and drive home if you can get temporary tags and insurance. We are near Rochester airport and will pick you up. I'm reasonable and will work with you.

Vehicle was my commuter and then my dughters before she moved. It has new tires, radiator, catalytic converter, o2 sensors, battery, frony discs and brakes. Car is in good shape, good starter car for a new driver. Very safe. Sbs lifht and check engine light have been on since i aquiured it in 2010. I purchased vehicle from a shipmate for my daughter while in the coast guard.
