2004.5 Volvo S40 2.4i We are pleased to present this incredibly nice Volvo S40 2.4i which was just traded in to one of our local Volvo dealerships on a new car. It's well optioned with the premium package, climate package, and DSTC dynamic stability and traction control. The interior of this S40 is in very, very good condition. It has Quartz heated leather seats which look fabulous and have worn very nicely. The dash is trimmed in upgraded real walnut accents which are part of the premium package and go well with the quartz interior. The car has the "high performance sound system" Alpine audio system which sounds excellent. It has a 6 Disc CD Changer in the dash. There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages. This Volvo has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags, and curtain airbags for the front and rear seats. It also features Volvo's WHIPS Whiplash protection system. The S40 is the first model to feature Volvo's "floating" center stack. The center console is not completely connected to the dashboard, so there is a nice illuminated storage area behind the console. Personally, I use it for gloves and a tin of altoids in my own Volvo. The exterior of this S40 is in remarkably good condition and is metallic silver in color. Along with the quartz interior, it looks great, and is easy to keep clean. The exterior of the car is actually in very nice condition, and there aren't any major flaws to note. The car has newer style 16 inch alloy wheels which are in good condition. Overall, I feel that this car is a fantastic combination of the economical 2.4i non-turbo model with geartronic automatic transmission, while still having quite a few options to make it look and feel like the turbocharged model. I love how it's configured! The tires are all matching and are in good shape. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary 2.4 non-turbo 5 cylinder engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. With the configuration of the non-turbo engine and the 5 speed automatic transmission, this Volvo will definitely run forever and ever. It runs great the transmission shifts fine. We drove it 20 miles. It is loaded with options. Leather CD it has everything. Low miles for the year. Tires are great and over all car is clean inside and out. The only problem we note is the engine has some type of noise, sound like from the top of the motor. But we have not diagnosed the noise. Options such as power windows, cruise control, air conditioning etc. are not guaranteed however we will do our best to mention any items that are not working. Check engine lights and others will be mentioned if they are on. We will not under any conditions guarantee the check engine lights or any dash warning lights and we do not do a diagnosis to see what it is because they can come on at any time for any number of reasons so these lights are not guaranteed if they come on for you.
