Project carOnly 8700 of these were made globally in 1972, 1973 and 1973 1/2This is a rare but fun car.It has a full set of disc brakesIf has an Overdrive attached to the transmission B20 engine with Electronic fuel injection There is typical rust The car has been sitting. It does not currently start. But it did run about 3 years ago. It has not been garaged. it has been open to the elements. The clear coat is degrading and can be seen in the photos. The passenger seat is needing repair as the lever has it in the down position . not interested in continuing with this project as I have too many other projects now. If you know this vehicle then you know how rare they are. this is my dream car and I need someone that can care for it better than me.

The car has always been well maintained and has has the benefit of timely, full servicing. Every day that I take my P1800ES on the road, at least two people will stop, stare and inquire about the vehicle and ask if they can take pictures. The most common comment made is that the car makes them \"happy\". It is one of only 8077 produced for the model years 1972 and 1973. This is a 42 year old automobile that will serve you well for many years to come. Since my purchase in 1981 I have used this car as my main transportation, both local and long distance. It has been my one and only driving machine for the past 34 years, and it has always proved to be a faithful, dependable machine, serving me well. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. And for the past 20 years, the car has been garaged for 6 months out of every year while I am away on business. This was the car that I wanted ever since I saw one in 1972. After 35 years of faithful service, the time has come for me to pass my great little car on to someone who will be as taken by it as I am. I am looking for a good home for my faithful friend. It\'s in amazing shape for a 42 year old car... not a trailer queen but pretty close. Purchased from the previous owner in 1981, I have all of the previous owners records dating back to the mid 1970\'s, along with those maintenance/parts receipts I\'ve accumulated during my ownership. This P1800ES is a very comfortable long distance touring car and great fun to drive while getting lots of attention and receiving constant "thumbs up" from passing motorists. Repair books, Service Manuals and maintenance records from the mid 1970's come with the purchase of this vehicle. Shipping/Transport: Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. Vehicle shipping will be quoted upon request. All shipping/insurance to be paid by Buyer. Full payment before shipping the vehicle or before driving it away. Friend of mine is selling off all of his cars. I will handle this on his behalf until buyer steps up at which point the actual payment takes place directly with him. I helped him sell this one this spring http://www.ebay.com/itm/181747418366?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984 That car was purchased from Oregon collector along with 2 other project cars, which are the subject of this listing. Both are 1973 1800 ES wagons, 4 speed w/overdrive and both are said to be complete with large number of spare parts. Both have clear, open titles from Oregon with Oregon plates. Both have original keys etc.. For better orientation, I'll refer to them as No.1 {white} and No.2 {rusty} cars. No.1 was well preserved with solid floors. While in his possession, the body was proffesionally stripped down to metal, body work done and prepped for paint. All panels line up perfectly. Very minor finishing needed for painting color of your choice {car was originally gold metallic}. Engine looks to be complete and totally dry top to bottom. Nothing has been cleaned and that's how it was photographed - no oil leaks anywhere. Turn over by hand freely. Fan belt is missing. Complete set of seats front and back is included along with new set of front seat covers. All miscellaneous parts for completion are included .. I could not confirm that every last bolt is present but I'm told it's complete. No rust was found anywhere. Undercarriage is completely original and has not been cleaned for photographs. This is a nice project car. No.2 was slightly less preserved and so it's considered parts car. Also complete with engine, trans etc. but has some rust spots on floors and body.. You can definitely build one car of these 2 or if you already have one that's rusty, you can use No.1 a donor body that is solid and ready to go. Shipping is your responsibility, both cars are free rolling. For quotes call Chris Davis from http://www.qualitycarmove.com/ 954-281-9140 for open/enclosed carrier anywhere in continental US.
