Recently bought this Wagon from a seller in Colorado.I'm 72 and I just had shoulder surgery, and was told it will be maybe 6 months before I can do much. So, I am selling it, I am a Volvo enthusiast and own a 544 and a 123GT, so its OK to let go of this one. Its a 1968 Volvo Amazon Wagon - RARE B20E Engine with a M41 4 speed manual trans with electric overdrive ( that works fine ). This car is a rare find as the Engine, Transmission and Rear End were completely rebuilt in 2010. Not many miles since. Also it has an over-sized radiator with an electric fan - keeps it cool. It has all new wheel bearings, performance exhaust, Lowered Springs with Bilsten Shocks. Anti-Sway Bars front and rear.Rear trailer arms are replaced. All rubber on suspension looks very good. All this done in 2010. Front end is tight . Professional upgrade to twin SU carburetors. NEW interior and rugs replaced in 2010 (except headliner - which is fine (except a 2 inch hole on both sides in the back ) NEW VTO MINI LITE racing wheels with NEW Goodyear assurance triple treads put on last year, only 250 miles on tires. Many records and receipts records included. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it home anywhere in the country. It could use a carburetor tune, as it was tuned for higher altitude in Colorado. Please study the pictures. The body has some slight surface rust, the worst rust being the drivers side rear wheel well (see pictures) Bumpers are in excellent condition. All mechanical work is complete but she is ready for some body work. All underneath looks good .All gauges and lights seem to work, It also comes with a used roof rack in nice shape. 1968 VOLVO 122 AMAZON WAGON For Sale is my rare 1968 122 Wagon. This was the last ( and best year) for this model. The engine, transmission ( 4-speed), and entire drive train is in very good condition. It runs and drives just fine. It starts right up The frame is rock solid, having had 2 small spots professional repaired. The right front and rear floor pans have been replaced. The front end is nice and tight, and it appears to have newish shocks. Front IPD sway bar. All the glass is fine except the windshield has 2 chips. (a good used windshield and a brand new rubber seal comes with the car ), All windows work fine. As you can see in the photos, the cargo floor is like new. All doors shut solid and tight – there is absolutely no door sag. All lights and signals work. This is a excellent driver. It is not a show car, as the paint has multiple touch-ups, and a couple of small dents. A great candidate for a full restoration. I think that photos always look better than the actual car. There is rust in the drivers side rear quarter ( see in next to last photo) - easily fixed. The interior is good. The dash pad is perfect. Door panels are OK, but not perfect. All gauges and speedometer work. The mileage is unknown, but engine runs strong, has good compression, and does not smoke.The seats were recovered and in are reasonable condition. I put in an AM/FM stereo with new speakers. I have tried to describe this car as best I can. I Welcome inspection and test drive.
