I have a 1961 (built in 1959) Volvo 122s This is a early model import. I bought this car over 5 years ago in Richmond, CA. The car was in storage (outside) for many years before that. When I purchased the car I did get it running but the fuel tank was rusted and needed repaired or replaced. It has a pretty big rust hole in the floor behind the driver's seat. I have a replacement piece that can be welded in place. There is also rust in the rockers. This is a VERY original car. I think it is a VERY good candidate for restoration, I just don't have the time or place for it anymore. The car is currently not running, When I had the fuel tank boiled out a few years ago (Over $400 at Reno Radiator) I never fully hooked it back up. Also the brake and clutch mater cylinder ( no clutch and no brakes) need to both be rebuilt. I have rebuild kits and also a new fuel sending unit for the car. Original B16 engine, 100% original car. Original AM radio (non-working, I haven't looked into why) I a highly motivated and need to sell the car but I do not want to "give" it away. I have more then $1000 in it, I want to sell it to someone who will restore it and not strip or junk it. I have the CA title, but it's not in my name. I have the bill of sale (in my name )from the titled owner and the title is signed over to me. The vehicle MAY HAVE CA DMV BACK FEES. I lived in Nevada at that time and never registered it in CA or put it on non-opp. The vehicle is in outside storage in Stateline, NV (South Lake Tahoe, CA) it is tarp covered. There is a hole behind the driver's seat in the floor about 2ft by 2ft. I have all the original owner's manuals etc. I can help load the vehicle with notice.
