2004 V70R Titanium Gray w/ Gobi interior 160k Miles, 2 owners Selling my 2004 V70R. It is a rare six speed manual transmission with 160k Miles. It has only had 2 Owners. Almost all maintenance records since new are available. It is equipped with the cold weather package, the HU-805 stereo, rear facing seats, and built in boosters. It has always been garaged and the paint is in excellent shape. Always dealer maintained by Volvo of Princeton until 100k and then independent mechanic maintained regularly since then by a trusted mechanic. The interior shows normal wear for the Gobi leather interior, but is soft and there are no rips or tears in the leather. Everything is working well, including the entire drivetrain, clutch, gearbox, engine, and accessories such as air conditioning, heat, heated seats, dual power seats, and other associated accessories. There are a couple of exceptions to this. The only major one being that the Chassis Settings Service light is on. I had Volvo run the codes, and this CSS is due to the rear driver's strut leaking as well as an intermittent fault (not active) on the front driver's strut sensor. The struts are the original ones from new, so they are due for replacement. There are no strange clunking noises nor any particular harshness in the suspension. Also, the rear window wiper motor makes noise when turned on, but does not wipe the glass. I was told by a Volvo technician it will need a new motor. Those are the downsides. On the upside, a lot of major maintenance has been done. The timing belt was just done in November, as well as the serpentine belt, all with Volvo parts. The clutch was replaced at 100k. The AWD system was serviced at 115k with a new collar and angle gear. The rear tires are new and the front tires are not very old and have plenty of life. They are all Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3s. If I were keeping it, I would doing the PCV service and associated items ($500-800, depending on where you take it), and update the worn suspension parts. Otherwise it drives wonderfully. It has been garage kept, however it does have a few dings on the rear bumper from parallel parking when visiting the city, as well as curb marks on the wheels. There is some slight cracking of the paint on the bottom of the front bumper lower fairing. All are visible in the photos, and nothing really needs attention cosmetically. It had some light cosmetic paintwork done to the front due to a fender bender back in 2005, but everything looks great and is holding up as well as the rest of the paint. I am selling because I just found out I am starting a new job in LA in January and will be moving to California in early January. I currently have an offer from a buyer in Atlanta for $5000, which is very cheap but he wants me to deliver it. I would prefer someone who can come pick it up or is willing to have it shipped, as delivering a car 500 miles is too much for me to deal with as well as organizing my move. I'm happy to take it to our local Volvo Specialist (Scandinavian Imports) or the dealership for a PPI at the buyer's expense. Vehicle is sold as-is where-is, but I can help coordinate if you choose to have it transported, as I have dealt with shipping my cars a few times now. I have uploaded some photos below.
