2008 Volvo VNL64T670 Conventional - Sleeper Truck, iShift w/ 435HP D13. This truck is a workhorse! I've priced it on the high side, but have a look at the maintenance performed over the last 12 months (see below). MILEAGE: 693k and rolling; TIRES: replaced the drives in June and the steers in May; MAINTENANCE DATA(JAN14 thru OCT14) 12FEB: Replaced turbo discharge pipe. 25MAR: Replaced NOx sensor. 12APR: Upgraded to one-piece exhaust manifold. 12APR: Upgraded to new EGR Crossover. 12APR: Cleaned and pressure tested EGR cooler. 12APR: Repaired two coolant leaks. 12APR: Replaced charged air transfer (turbo to CAC linkage). 12APR: Replaced thermostat gasket. 23APR: Turbo diagnostics showing normal (even while running hot). 23APR: Replaced all six injector cups23. APR: Cleaned and inspected all six injectors (replaced #3). 23APR: Replaced EGR valve. 06JUN: Repaired Air Conditioning system. 07JUN: Replaced rear brakes and drums. 18JUL: Replaced air lines to the transmission. 26OCT: Replaced # 1 & 5 injectors, engine wiring harness, and engine control module--fully correcting the regen. issue common to most VNL series. This truck was averaging 6.4 to 6.5mpg prior to the injector repair and ECM replacement. At over 40k lbs, it's averaged 7.1mpg for more than 900 miles following recent repairs. All repairs were performed at Volvo certified repair shops and parts are under 1-year warranty from date of installation. Short of replacing the turbo and overhauling the engine, there's little I haven't done to update this truck. I'm in the process of upgrading to a 2015 or better Cascadia Evolution, and I can have the current team deliver this truck in person at cost.
