Selling my 1998 Volvo S70 which I have owned for 4 years as a student. I am the second owner. This car has been very reliable for me and I have used it for driving locally, to the city, and for long trips. I have serviced the car myself and have also taken it to be serviced when necessary. Car is being sold as is. Please see below for a description of some of the issues. Specifications: - 174, xxx miles - 5 Cylinder, 2.4 L Engine - Estimated 17/24 MPG - 190 HP @ 5100 RPMs - Tires have 60-70% tread in the front and 90% in the back - Upgraded DDM HID headlights 5000k Recent Maintenance: - New brakes, rotors on the front and back - New spark plugs, distributor cap, and spark plug wires < 10,000 miles ago - Timing belt done at 150k - New Radiator, hoses, thermostat - New end links in the front, new right front axle - Regular oil and filter changes every 5000k Issues: - Damage to the right front of the car: I was side-swiped in the city by someone, which resulted in damage to the right front fender. The damage does not affect driving whatsoever and is purely cosmetic. - Oil: As with all older cars, this car burns some oil and also has a leak coming from the cam seals. The cam seals can be easily replaced, I have just not had time to do it - Check engine light: The check engine light comes on occasionally for a p0455 code which is the secondary air evaporator system. The code is related to emissions and does not affect the driving of the car. It still passes inspection without a problem. Currently the light is not on. - Interior Cosmetics: Some pieces are missing and cracked. I have spare pieces I can provide the buyer if interested. I have never bothered to replace them because it has never bothered me. - There may be other issues I cannot think of at the moment, so I encourage anyone interested to check out the car themselves before making an offer and email/message me with specific questions.
