Selling a well-restored Volvo 240. Mechanically, this car is in great shape. I have a ton of records going back 10 years, showing regular oil changes, PCV servicing, and required repairs. I bought this months ago as a project car and daily driver. I love this car, but after driving it to work for a month, I'm realizing I'm somewhat too big for it. The seating and pedal positions aren't great on my ankles and legs. I bought this car in moderate shape, and put a TON of work into a full restoration of the car to OEM spec. Mechanically, this car is in near perfect condition. I have records for what Bo Jonsson in San Mateo has done on the car, and receipts for the work I did personally. Interior and mechanicals are all near-perfect. The big downside is the exterior. The car, at some point in its life, had a very crappy Maaco paint job that's starting to peel and pinhole. The peeling is mostly limited to the trunk area, and is pictured the best I can. I have much more than $4000 into this car, but I'm listing the car based on what I think it's worth. I'll entertain offers, especially if you can provide evidence of similar-condition vehicles selling for less. 15 year old Volvo V70. - If you are looking for a cheap, reliable car, Look no further!I'm the second owner, purchased it 6 months ago - Runs like a charm, reliable, robust car.It has a few scratches, but mechanically perfect, no leaks, no strange noises.It has a 2 zone AC, CD and cassette player, 2 Airbags, Cruise control, spare tire with change kit.It's a Wagon car, anything fits into it, great if you carry around lots of stuff!Known issues:-ABS light is on-Scratches on the body.I recently changed brake calipers and pads - so you don't have to worry about them, I have the receipt about it. Oil changed at the same time. It passed a smog test in march - I see no reason not passing it again.The car is in Burlingame, you can view it weekdays, daytime. I'm open for reasonable offers!
