A solid example of these rare and unique cars. This one has a polished cold air intake with coated header and the chrome valve cover. Has later model alloys with a heavy duty sway bar up front and as the previous owner described a rebuilt engine and drivetrain although he is no longer available to ask. Runs awesome and handles like a go cart. Had it out last year and was used as a daily driver. Hard to believe in 73 you could get 4 wheel disc, electronic fuel injection and electric overdrive in a wagon. As Leno and Carini both said these are rare and going up in value fast.

Up for sale is my Beautiful Orange 1973 Volvo 1800es sport wagon. The only reason I'm selling my pride and joy is to help pay for a new home purchase. This is a 3 owner car including myself. I bought the car from the second owner who owned the car since 1976! He babied the car while he had it and then put it into dry stoarge. When I received the car it had been sitting unused in a garage for 20 years. The car has very low original milage for the year (65,869 Miles!) I went ahead and had the car restored to its former glory. New paint, Any rust was cut out and replaced with new metal, New gas tank, Fuel Pump, Fuel gage sensor, New rubber seals, Oil temp sensor, etc... anything that needed replacing was replaced. The car mechanically is in perfect working order. The car needs a new exhaust system and I have ordered the sport version for the car.... A $900 value! It should be here shortly and will be included with the car. The buyer will need to install. This car sure turns heads. It drives well and is a joy to show off. The body work was done well. The paint looks great but its not show quality paint. Still looks great but does have some dust marks etc. The doors and front and back windows were removed during painting. Its a nice looking car! Here are the only issues or quirks the car has: 1. The light that tells you the emergency break is on is stuck on. The brake works well but when its off the light is still on. 2. Needs Exhaust system installed - New Sport exhaust included with car. 3. Doors need to be re-keyed - New keys and lock cylinders are included for the new buyer 4. The Radio is not hooked up. All in all this is a fun car to drive. Looks great! Near show quality work. Currently has collector plates and has always been garaged kept. The car is in good condition, the driver side seat is a little scratched up on the left hand side but all the other seats are in good condition. The seats are leather and the front two are heated. The interior is clean and doesn't smell bad or anything. Just got a new fuel filter in, did a coolant flush, oil change and a transmission oil change. The exterior is in good shape save for a few hairline scratches from previous use. Runs fine, no random noises. Shifts between gears smoothly and doesn't whine whenever its going uphill. The car is good on gas, doesn't take much to fill up, 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The car can be picked up from me in Penticton BC.
