With a heavy heart I offer to the internet my 1985 Volvo 240 with 243k miles. I recently purchased a 2001 V70 T5m as the new backup wagon, so the 240 has to go. $1000 takes it home- looking to sell to a fellow Volvo enthusiast. The good--Reliable, daily-driver quality car. I'd drive it anywhere-M46 overdrive works great-Lots of maintenance over the past few years including front & rear brakes, rear shocks, muffler, tie rod ends, timing belt, regular oil changes, spark plugs, air filter...-Steering and suspension are tight-Does not leak or burn oil-Replaced floorpans-IPD swaybars and rear springs-Class III towing hitch with wiring-Tach and small clock kit-Aftermarket radio with aux input, and four nice aftermarket speakers-Good tires-Registered, insured, and driven regularlyThe bad--Body has some dents-Hatch, lower rear quarters, and door sills are rusty (but not terminal)-Torn driver's seat-A/C is non-op-Bulb out light turns on due to improvised 3rd brake light-Headlight switch is worn out and could use replacement-Reverse lights don't workPlease don't hesitate to ask any questions. 860-269-4314
