The seats are in excellent condition, but have been recovered, probably the only hurdle to a completely original GT. Needs tires for a long trip. As seen in the pictures I have a set of late 240 wheels/tires I can throw in if you need to get it home. Comes with the original GT wheels. Comes with a trunk full of parts. The car was in a carport or garage most of it's life, it is very nice. No rust the floors, doors or quarter panels are all nice. Other than a few paint chips, there are 2 little dents below the gas door, hard to see unless you look for them. Blue cloth interior is nice, all seat foam is in good condition. Carpet is nice, one small crack in dash pad. Car has a new timing belt, front engine seals, water pump,air filter, oil change and flame trap. Air conditioning has been converted to 134 a and works great. The exhaust and brakes are in good condition. Tires are Michlien and are 90 percent plus. The original radio will be replaced with a aftermarket CD am fm unit this week. Power windows and locks work great. Power steering and brakes are smooth and working properly. Door pockets, center console plastic is in good condition as well as the hard to fine center arm rest. Heater works fine and blower motor is quiet. Maryland inspection has been done, it is extensive and hard to pass. If it passes in Maryland it will pass in your home state. We have a clear North Carolina title in hand, the North Carolina title is mileage exempt ( cars older than 10 years no longer require mileage records). Volvo : 240 dl Volvo 5 speed manual clean wagon low miles white blue interior

1988 Volvo 240 wagon 5 speed manual transmission, white with blue vinyl interior. It runs and drives great and is ready to go another 100 k miles. New front tires, new timing belt, fan belts, air filter and oil change. Runs and drives great, suspension is tight and quiet. lights are pretty good and all working. Has a roof rack and a 3 rd seat in the back. Updated hub caps from a 1993 240. Air conditioning has had a new compressor a few years ago, worked fine last summer. I have about 50 receipts from the former owner it had regular oil changes and service. Seats are good few splits in the drivers seat, right seat and back seat are nice. Carpet and interior plastic are all good. 1988 is a good year no wire harness problems like the earlier cars and no computer issues of the 89-93 cars. Car will need a radio the factory one is broken. I bought this car from Usaa insurance company it had light damage on the left side, the rear door was replaced, a few dents fixed, and the left side was repainted(see picture). They said it was totaled, but I drove it home from Pa, they don't want to fix any older cars.  Car runs and drives great, it was a Maryland car most of its life,spent some time in Georgia and back to Pa where I bought it. The odometer shows 128440, the gear in the odometer was broken, that has been fixed. My best guess  is the gear broke in 2007 from service records, the car was driven 24k miles between 2000 and 2007, so my best guess is the has close to 150k miles total. It will be sold as true milage unknown as the law requires. Title is salvage, if you live in Maryland, we will collect tax, tag and title fees, you will receive the title from the MVA, it will be branded "rebuilt Salvage" on the bottom of the title. If you live outside of Maryland we will provide you a 60 day temporary tag to drive on, we will turn the salvage title into Maryland, get a Maryland title, it will have the "rebuilt salvage" brand on the bottom. That will take 10-30 days and we will send the title Fedex once it arrives. This title is good in all states, some however require and additional inspection before it can be titled. Call me I can tell you what is required if anything to title in your home state.  I will  have the car Maryland inspected this week.  Maryland inspection is really tough, if it passes here it will pass in your home state. Tires are pretty close to new, exhaust is recent and in good shape. There are a few rust spots in the tailgate by the window, floor pans are good, doors, quarter panels are not rusted. There is one dent in the front of the roof, and a couple of dings by the tailgate on the right side, see pictures. I will do the timing belt, oil change, air filter, flame trap, and drive belts  as it is due before you come to pick it up. Nice rust free 240 wagon 1987 maroon with tan vinyl interior. Clear Va title in hand, no rust in the floors doors or quarters. Original paint, the car has never been in in an accident. Very well preserved example of the classic 240 wagon. Interior is in excellent condition, I have a replacement center console that will be installed. Door pockets are good, manual windows all work fine. Air conditioning has been converted to 134 freon and works good. Ipd big sway bars have been installed on the front and rear.  15 inch wheels from a 780 with Dunlap tires have lots of tread. Engine and 5 speed transmission are smooth and drive fine.
